  1. Awesome trip report Neil. I hope to get to these parks at some point in the future. Glad you and Jason had a good time, I hope you stopped in his path to take photos many times!
  2. My facial expression in this photo describes perfectly how I felt at that moment in time
  3. ^Seasons 3 & 4 are covering book 3 (ish). Though they have said that they are condensing the character arcs in the show from now on to speed things up a bit. Otherwise it would run for far too many seasons. The creators of the show have said they want it to run for 7 or 8 seasons. There are rumours of a movie or two to wrap it all up as well
  4. My hopes for the show/potential movies/remaining books is that The Walkers battle the Dragons, the wall comes crashing down, Bran wargs a Dragon and The Hound battles The Mountain. My geeky wishlist.
  5. I got the top of my little finger chopped off in a car door, but thankfully I can't remember that due to being 3 years old at the time. It was glued back on. The worst I can remember was getting bitten on the leg by a stray Alsatian in Ibiza when I was about 9 or 10; only one tooth broke flesh but it went about halfway through my leg as I was a scrawny kid. Didn't go near dogs for years after that!
  6. My two rats, only had them about a month. Hard to take pictures of, they move fast. Skull is albino and therefore can't see very well so doesn't seem to want to come out of the cage; Bulk is the adventurous one of the pair, I'm his favourite climbing frame Skull Bulk
  7. The only bad experience like this that I've had on a ride was on Enterprise at Alton Towers. Nauseating.
  8. I really enjoyed reading through the Song of Ice and Fire series so far. The only one I didn't quite enjoy reading was the fourth, A Feast for Crows; it was incredibly repetitive and focused purely on the least interesting characters. Overall, the series is so rich in story, fantastic stuff.
  9. I think I prefer coke because it is the only one available in most places so I drink it more. But I can't really tell the difference between the two (don't hurt me )
  10. I too love haunted houses, especially walkthrough ones. I also enjoy a good Twister, always my favourite as a kid at fairgrounds.
  11. Is it a silly question to ask how to drop gift bags in a friend's town? I must be missing something obvious...
  12. I rather like the variety of the IGN podcasts. With a slight favour to the UK podcast naturally. The Australian one is very fun as well
  13. Thanks for the awesome coaster blu-rays you guys made/sent out. The time you spend planning the trips and the help you give to us when it comes to them. A well maintained forum. Plus making being a club member worthwhile.
  14. Visited today, whole X-Sector was closed off. They had a crane in there working on the ride. Really quiet day at the park, 0 to 5 minute queue on most rides, no rain either. Rode Nemesis a few times, would have been rude not to. They gave out free comp tickets for next year, due to the closure of the X-Sector.
  15. I think it closes for two months at the start of the year if I remember correctly
  16. Smiler shut as guide wheel hits guest: Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-24794468
  17. How'd you get Pokemon X already? It's not even out yet. I can't wait for the game, gonna pick it up before I head off to the park for the day and Haunt Website called Shopto here in the UK sent them out Wednesday, mine was quick via the post and arrived yesterday. I was surprised myself!
  18. Got Pokemon X in the post today, amazing so far. Reminds me of my childhood, haven't played since Gold!
  19. Definitely in for Scandi! Hopefully I get a place on the trip
  20. I spend £3 every month to buy 60 donuts. Saving up for some Halloween exclusive premium items so hopefully they'll be some good ones
  21. Saw The Conjuring this weekend Very well acted, really liked the casting and performances. Always a bonus when the child actors aren't annoying Nothing scary other than the odd thing I found a bit creepy (dead people clapping, dolls), maybe I'm just not easily scared by movies as I can only recall finding REC scary in recent years; relied on making people jump rather than giving a lasting impression, things to make you keep the light on at night It amuses me when it is marketed as "based on a true story". The true story being a couple of con artists claimed to know when spirits were amongst us
