NEED Yakatori! Or just send me to Japan either one works! -
T3 is among the worst steel coasters I've been on. The KumbaK trains helped a tiny bit with the headbanging but they are very "bangy" (center of gravity feels much lower than Vekoma trains), they don't track well and the restraints are not well-designed. There are two SLC's I've been on that are worse than T3 (Nio and F2) but those are very old and probably did not receive enough maintenance.

Oh yeah, my bad. I thought Vekoma designed some crazy trackless EMV for Symbolica. -

When brakes bite hard

Also Valravn is very uncomfortable. It's not like biting hard or anything but it is one of the most uncomfortable brake runs out there. -

This looks like Efteling really went hardcore and created a Disney level dark ride. The combination of interior shots and the Vekoma vehicle testing a while ago seems very promising! -

Judging from the lineup they have, Wing Coaster seems perfect. Also B&M Please make something at the intensity level of Parrot! -

Vortex isn't bad, it is more like jerky. I've been on way worse coasters than that. -
When brakes bite hard
gerstlaueringvar replied to Samuel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
There was once in HK Disney's Space Mountain when the block brake before the unloading station probably was activated as E-brake. Anyway it literally feels like the train hit a wall! -
Why are coaster enthusiasts weird?
gerstlaueringvar replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I feel like it has to have something to do with the size of the crowd a hobby appeals to. From my observation, generally Sport/Car/Fashion/TV/Movie enthusiasts are less "weird" than the Disney fans, and Disney fans are less "weird" than Cedar Point fans, Cedar Point fans are less "weird" than Holiday World fans, and then Holiday World fans are less "weird" than Arnolds Park fan. Disney fans don't seem "weird" because Disney appeals to much more people than Arnolds Park, especially for 50-year-old men. The smaller the size of the crowd something appeals to, the less mainstream it becomes. Oftentimes "weird" describes behaviors/people that are unusual or strange to mainstream society so people that enjoy "weird" things have to face lots obstacles in order to enjoy what they like. Once they overcome these obstacles, they are more likely to embrace the other "weird" things they like. There is also comparing and judging inside of the group of people that shares a common hobby. To most people, Mean Streak Henry would appear to be "weirder" than someone who rode Millennium Force 16,000 times. Think of it in a different way, those "weird" people that have to face a larger amount of pressure is actually brave! (I'm not encouraging not showering or not letting pocket vest die in the 90's though) -

Wow that went so far and now we are at Universal Studios! -
People are just horrible. I can't imagine how stressful it would be to organize a tour. Those crappy entitled people would feel like they paid you so you have to meet their expectations and sometimes even give you attitude for uncontrollable situations or when a park sucks. Oh and also, if you work a 9 to 5 you get to go home and stay away from those people, but I think working social medias and organizing tours are 24 hours a day every single day kind of thing.
