  1. I remember Chris from GCII mentioned that Millennium Flyers are designed to do inversions
  2. http://insiderlouisville.com/news/2014/01/06/monday-business-briefing-lousy-time-health-care-edition-problems-baptist-hospital-systems/ If Ed Hart is one thing, he is ambitious... And I remember Alan Schilke said he would like to make longer coasters...
  3. It's not really about the 5 year plan. Back to the 80s, 90s, probably yes; but nowadays the plan really means nearly nothing. It's all about economic development and that's probably it, the latest 5 year plan highlighted the importance of environmental protection but everything is still getting worse and worse. Buying roller coasters hardly relate to the government unless when the park is owned by the government or when the goverment is the majority stockholder. Things are pretty complicated when it comes to getting ride operation license but Chinese ride manufacturers usually have good "relationship" with a certain department so parks just buy their rides to avoid too much hassles. Plus, knock-off SLC's get upside down just like B&M's so most parks just go for Golden Horse or whatever because GP don't mind about whch manufacturer the ride came from. Happy Valley already started their business plans on big rides with knock-off manufacturers so probably only Chimelong deserves our hope I really think when it comes to parks in China, thinngs can get a little distracting Back to the topic, I really think Wanda cannot do as good in amusement park industry. Yes, they build shopping malls everywhere in China that literally started a Wanda Empire and their boss is now the richest people in China, but both Viper and this coaster are located at a place where visitors are not visiting for parks especially Xishuangbanna. I assume both parks will eventually turn into Chinese Hard Rock Parks
  4. ^Yep, just another reason why wenthusiasts need to sue them lol I was wondering if that track style is a KumbaK knock-off combine with TOGOish style
  5. To tell the truth, I would rather see Intamin, Gerstlauer, Mack, Zierer and S&S build something never been done before. B&M's creativity only focus on the layout instead of new elements. RMC seems unlikely because the stupid Chinese amusement department added RMC to the black list due to the NTaG accident!! Is it possible that all coaster enthusiasts sue the Chinese amusement department with RMC?
  6. How about flyer trains for B&M stand ups?
  7. Dearest Title Fairy, May I have a title related to Intamin or RMC? Thank you
  8. I think 2015!!! Damn it, now Ill have to choose between Mexico and Germany. That won't be easy. Grab Hansa's new hyper and Medusa together in one yearwith GeForce, Europa Park and a bunch of Uncle Anton goodness... I guess I'll broke because I really want to take both How about a combo from Mexico to Europe?
  9. How about the rest of this coaster? While other parks nearly finished their new coasters or stopped due to the weather, SFM seems pretty slow on Medusa.
  10. ^Congrats to El Toro! Well...Doesn't seem like a lot of coasters can compete with El Toro for that spot other than Outlaw Run and a couple of older woodies.
  11. It will basically themed to a butterfly flying through the forest.
  12. More photos! From what I have heard, the park will open around 250 days later. So they actually planned to skip the summer?? I can never understang the logic of a lot Chinese parks' grand opening are during Winter and Fall.
  13. ^ It's a love or hate ride as being mentioned more than 100 times. Insane at Grona Lund deserves the name while SFMM might not be the proper place for any coaster. Green Lantern, unfortunately, became one of the SFMM coasters. GL has amazing force that can easily eat Batman. It's my favorite coaster at SFMM along with Viper.(Yep, I think GL is better than X2 and Apocalypse ) Guss I'm kind of biased though. I think the most possible clone would be DDD or a compact RMC around the size of Coney Island Cyclone.
  14. So...um...where's the Intamin frisbee? I know that I shouldn't judge something new before it opens, but did found Intamin's frisbee a lot better than Huss Frisbee. Does anyone know how Intamin space shot is compare with S&S space shot?
  15. I had pizza at the pizza place opposite to Studio 6F near Gold Rusher and I thought it was quite good.
  16. If Maverick's upward launch counts as a lift hill... Take it to the extreme, Formula Rossa has the fastest lift hill because the launch section also has a small slope. I guess by lift hill, it means traditional chain lift and cable lift while friction wheels and the weird Japanese coaster using belts can be arguably included. So I think SkyRush and Tornado might be the winner.
  17. ^I got my Vodka ready, now where can I buy some of those soda powder?
  18. Some photos of signing the contract and the factory tour.
  19. Viper and this coaster are in different provinces. The distence between is around 2,000 miles From RCD, this coaster would probably be a Manta clone with butterfly theme.
  20. 20,000 rides on Xcelerator? That guy must has a very strong body to handle that.
  21. City Museum made their elevator a drop tower and added a Mega-Lite at the roof top
  22. Being a ride back to the 1920s, roughness is okay. But being a ride from 2005 and redone a lot in 2013, roughness is not okay.
  23. The size of the tower is impressive! When will the car arrive?
