  1. I LOLed so hard after I put down the Outlaw Run pencil and drank the coffee on my Outlaw Run mug, took out my phone with the Outlaw Run case and wiped the screen with NTaG T-Shirt Then I saw my new title on TPR
  2. I really hope that B&M can start to make some ejector on this one. But what I really hope to see is an Intamin
  3. Love cute little animals! Does anyone know what kind of issue did Zonga have that caused the removal?
  4. ^ Great idea! Random question: Is USH's horror house one of the best in US?
  5. How does the car lift to the top? By chain lift?
  6. ^ Oh god! It's using the old style OTSR's! Poor Intamin employees! Cedar Point doesn't own too much lake as mentioned at CP discussion thread a couple of months ago. I'm picturing an inverted dive machine
  7. Is the super splash near Riddler's only running one boat? I remember hearing it used to be an up charge ride.
  8. Is Mindbender the coaster that pulls the most G's in US nowadays?
  9. Not if they modify Twisted Twins... Disconnect the track and use both lifts like Boomerangs, make it a shuttle coaster that goes through the track twice... Capacity would be a huge problem.
  10. ^ How about dark purple, dark blue and silver? This would give a mysterious feeling I think.
  11. I saw that i305 style OTSR's are available for Mega Lite somewhere probably Intamin's website a while ago... I can't picture how that would look like...
  12. Thank you title fairy!!! I love this one
  13. Imagine the hilarious on ride photos A falcon at the top would be really great for a drop tower!
  14. Always wonder if we can eventually see a SF, CF park build something with a Black Mamba level theming. Phantasialand looks like an amazing park.
  15. The cable lift motor is much more complicated than chain lift motor. Cable lift motors need to run backwards but chain lift motors mostly don't have that function. Reliability is arguable because Mega Lites also have a lot of problems on cable lift system. Again, Intamin makes kick ass rides with small problems here and there. As long as it's not a giant fail, it's okay.
  16. ^^ GP wouldn't mind I guess. It's a wooden coaster that goes upside down!
  17. Remember Maverick is the first to use those new style of LSM and Intamin is famous for little problems here and there. iSpeed and Cheetah Hunt must be a lot more reliable I guess. I think the reason why not using LSM to replace the lift hill might be: 1. Waste of electricity. 2. The train can't fully stop during E-Stop and it will roll back to the station at a low speed. To prevent trains hitting into each other, the train in the back can only enter the station after the train in the front had cleared the lift hill. That lowered the capacity. Solution might be adding a brake in front of the station like Maverick but it's a waste of land and track.
  18. I guess they do this so that nobody hurts them due to acceleration forces but it's not so intense that riders wouldn't be able to hold them when the train launches. I always had my hands up and it was perfectly fine. It demands a lot more arm strength to hold them during pretzel loops (which probably reach 4 Gs or more) than a less than 2 Gs launch. I mean the instantaneous acceleration. TTD has a pretty high instantaneous acceleration but the continuous acceleration is not too high. I too, can put my hands up during the launch with no problem. But when head moving forward too hast during the instantaneous launch, I'm sure injuries will happen in the opening day and CP would be sue to death. California Screamin' level is fine for backwards launch but TTD is too intense.
  19. TTD's acceleration is too high to protect your neck from getting hurt, even with OTSR's. Remember how riders are not allowed to put their hands up while the train is launching? It's never going to happen unless the acceleration is around Mr. Freeze which is only around 0.8 m/s but the launch track is clearly too short for that. Now, if MF turns backwards with higher cable lift speed...
  20. First one. Can't tell why but I just like it more...
  21. Been on a lot of insanely forceful coasters but only Titan's upwards helix before MCBR gave me a grey out.
  22. Why don't they just take off the track and customize some track from another ride manufacturer? The track is clearly not Heartliner with some awkward quick transitions that might be very painful. Plus, I guess fixing the old track would already cost a lot, I think it's better to completely upgrade it than fixing it.
  23. How many of them are still operating? Dorney's, Italian Movie World and a couple of them in Japan I guess?
  24. Chimelong Paradise Happy Valley Shenzhen Mysterious Island. That stupid Chuanlord is a death trap, not a park.
