  1. That's a nice trip! Hope to go to NY sometime.
  2. Price tag are almost the same. Extreme thrill rides can't fit into a park like Nigloland. I think it had been mentioned in this thread a few pages ago.
  3. Lewa Happy world is a huge disappointment. Their Intamin Mega coaster plan was cancelled and 9 coasters decreased to three coasters. Plus almost all their flat rides are Chinese knock-off. I don't even want to bump up the thread because that makes me a huge idiot to be so excited about a new Chinese park (Except for Ocean Kingdom which deserves it). Anyway, I think YOLOcoaster's record will be there longer.
  4. SFMM=no airtime Something like SkyRush would destroy SFMM's tradition although YOLOcoaster kind of already did.
  5. ^ I think they can remove S:EFK's track, leave the tower for Lex Luthor and install two more Falcon's Fury like drop tower rides at the front and the back. The spare land of S:EFK could fit a huge 500ft+ Intamin accelerator.
  6. ^ I think Chimelong would more likely to build an RMC woodie. Intamin makes great coasters but their price tag is a bit too high. Chimelong bought some crappy Intamin coasters so Intamin might already had a bad reputation. Intamin Pre-Fab woodies are as smooth as steel coasters and their price are not as high. But seems like RMC's topper track and train technology already solved the problem of retracking to keep the maintenance cost low. Plus, since the construction site is right next to the front gate, I think an impressive looking RMC woodie with crazy elements would be a much better addition than something like El Toro(While it's airtime is extreme, it doesn't have a large variety of elements like Outlaw Run) But either RMC or Intamin would be 1,000 times better than a Son of Hades360 Just hope that Chimelong has a better look at the industry than all the other Chinese parks.
  7. ^ Looking great, it really looks much tamer than Intamin Mega-Lites. Not only for the bigger hills, but also for the part after the Stengel Dive( Or just a twisting hill?) looks like it only provides some light positive G's. Again, I really don't like the park owner asking Mack to make something close to Intamin Mega-Lite. Kind of offensive to both Intamin and Mack.
  8. ^ Thanks! Even I was surprised, I knew this is a Chimelong park so the operation would be the best among Chinese parks but I would never put it into the same level of Disneyland! Turns out their efficiency is better than most Six Flags parks I've been to. More information: I've heard that Walrus Splash will operate five trains and Polar Explorer will operate up to 25 trains. I can see Happy Valley parks being kicked in the a$$ by Chimelong but Chimelong needs to install some great coasters to compete with OCT's. Maybe Ocean Kingdom's world's tallest wooden coaster will be the first overseas RMC? I highly doubt Gravity Group and MVR can make this one not like Hades360!!! Rumor said Chimelong had a big conversation with Gravity Group at IAAPA 2013
  9. Are there any coasters over even 200 ft. with inversions, other than dive machines? There doesn't seem to be a record entry for tallest inverting coaster. X2 also goes upside down. X2 is only 175ft but the drop is 215ft. Add two Mr.Freezes, Dinoconda, Eejanaika, Speed: The Ride to the list.
  10. Judge Roy Scream
  11. I assume the first Raven Turn of Eejanaika would be the tallest one.
  12. Goliath(SFMM, SFFT)
  13. Wait, did I miss anything? Where will it be?
  14. Really? I think a couple of Chinese parks just added their mine train like yesterday
  15. I think it would have some seriously OMFG airtime. Looks amazing but kind of like Mack is forced to knock-off an Intamin Mega-Lite
  16. Cedar Creek Mine Ride
  17. The new theme looks great! Love the new color.
  18. Seriously? Jay was in the army! How could he afraid of a tiny coaster like that! And I laughed so hard at Manny's GP comment.
  19. ^ Great news! Maybe it will use KumbaK trains?
  20. Lol I just remembered Scream is built entirely over a parking lot. I think he is referring to Scream
  21. That would be great at 130cm! Can't wait to see the photos and thank you for all the info!
  22. 140cm is way too harsh for families! If the restraint of Mack launch coaster train can secure a 122cm rider, why not set the rider height limit as low as it can? As far as I know from the posts about Manta, it is an intense family coaster and I guess Sweden is known for maximize the rider range and test the limit of a ride (*cough*Insane*cough*). Maybe the rider height limit will be a bit more than 122cm as Helix is much bigger than Manta but I guess it would be under 140cm.
