  1. Cool pictures! MF's lighting is very unique.
  2. PTC made amazing wooden coasters in the past and their wooden coaster trains are everywhere in the world. I think PTC is very successful. As for innovative, I think RMC, Intamin, S&S and Arrow would be the winner. S&S has a tradition of failing on prototype coasters but their products after the improvements are usually amazing. Plus their towers are everywhere.
  3. Disneyland: very nice park, the atmosphere is great and the attractions are with very high quality even though some of them are from Vekoma. Corn dogs did not disappoint but things are way too expensive. Indiana Jones crew needs to figure out a way to match the capacity (or is it originally has a low capacity?) DCA: Family friendly enough while thrilling enough. Has a great atmosphere just like Disneyland but still lacks a thrilling ride. ToT might be the best ride there for the surprises and the simple restraints. California Sleepin' is a huge disappointment. If you don't want airtime and positive G's, go for B&M!!! Plus they really need to take the loose article policy seriously as there are people taking POV's on nearly every train without any protection. Universal Studios Hollywood: Very nice themed but overcrowded, overpriced and overrated! Love Mummy and House of Horror and that's it. Didn't get a chance to do Studio Tours and Transformers as the line was nearly three hours. SFMM: my first time to visit a place like this, very good coaster collection and reasonable merchandise price compared to Disneyland and USH. Sure there are a lot of things need to improve but which parks all have their flaws.
  4. Premier trains look very "protective". Nice color!
  5. Humm... Just heard someone said modern roller coasters use cables to hold the lap bars. I don't know about if the Chinese knock-off coaster manufacturers have came out with some new idea, as far as I know, cables won't click
  6. ^ Walrus Splash and Polar Explorer suppose to open on Feb 28th so I assume they are opened already. I haven't gotten any info about them yet.
  7. Very cool! I always think those TOGO coasters can benefit from lap bars a lot. Is it getting new trains from another manufacturer or are the trains getting modification?
  8. I think Goliath looks better in the new color. Hope it won't have a change like S:RoS-Bizarro.
  9. Steel structure, Gravity Group, Timberliners, repair... I'm getting a bad feeling. The plan doesn't seem realistic enough. If the typhoon attacked the park due to it's location, putting money into this park and wait for it getting attacked again is not a good idea. Plus, where are all those horror movie going to shoot if the park reopens? SFNO must be one of the creepiest place in this planet.
  10. ^^Premier don't have a truly bad coaster as well, Buzzsaw Falls might be lame but isn't bad. Their wooden coaster trains, however, seem to have a terrible reputation.
  11. iSpeed has that issue too? I think Intamin made some improvement on the OTSR's after Maverick. Does i305 need this kind of brace as well?
  12. ^^ I highly doubt CP would give B&M $25 million and ask them to build a rough family coaster with lame layout. On the other hand, I think FOTR is what CP needs. Now back to the topic, I really think Blue Streak need to take out the headrests.
  13. ^ I fell asleep before the key hole and was waken up by the roughness after the key hole. So I didn't remember anything
  14. Does Intamin provide treatment to their rides? Eagle could be great with pre-fab track and Intamin trains as well.
  15. Did anyone noticed that NTaG is falling down? An accident wouldn't change the fact that it is a great coaster. I hardly see people put it in top 3 anymore.
  16. ^^First row of each car is the place for taller people. Putting your hands between your thigh and the lap bar during the final bunny hops can reduce the pain very well. If you want more airtime, row three of car one is probably the best choice.
  17. No matter how bad they are, I won't let any of them(except for the North Korea one) slip away! Respect the spirit of credit whoring
  18. Gröna Lund is beautiful! Thanks for the photos
