  1. Guys... Bad news... SFMM goofed again. TWISTED COLOSSUS SINGLE RIDER LINE GONE... FOREVER! Walked back to the single rider line today and found it stantioned off. Asked a ride op and they said "to maximize efficiency and minimize staffing" they have foregone with the single rider line indefinitely. Along with the single rider line has gone assigned seating and the grouper position. Now, you get to choose whatever row you want. The station is still (sort of) regulated though, as the ride op at the control panel stops the flow of people through the turnstile when the station started to get a little crowded. But, hey, on the plus side I got a double duel today for the first time in a few weeks! And it was dueling 75-80% of the time the whole time I was there!
  2. One of the catch car hooks is broken on Lex. They are awaiting the new part before the ride is operational again.
  3. Heading down to the park. Hopefully not too crowded.
  4. That whole last week is DEAD. Don't need to worry about anything. Have fun!!
  5. Guest incident. I didn't see what happened as they shut down the whole area around the ride for like 2 hours. All I know is that the paramedics went in with a stretcher and it was about half an hour after the park opened. No they haven't. I went on a moderately busy day in May and there was one train running with one train in the shed and the other just parked in the other loading station. Same thing when I went during Spring Break in April, when it was even busier. I don't think I've seen Tatsu use both loading stations in a couple of years at least. I'm glad they are using both stations again and hopefully they will have three trains for WCB. If the second train was parked in the other station, that means there was some sort of technical problem with the other train. They did that yesterday too for about a half hour while I was waiting. Then it got fixed and both stations were in use once again. I don't remember the last time I went where they weren't using two stations, and I go at least twice a week. Unless you ride within like the first hour/90 min of park opening then they won't be running both stations but usually will after that.
  6. I don't know why everyone is still freaking out about Tatsu using both loading stations. They have been doing that on any even moderately busy day for the past year. But yeah today was insane. There was an accident on TC this morning where the paramedics were called which shut down the ride for 2 hours. Scream was also down the whole day no idea why. One train in the station and one in the maintenance shed. Lex Luthor was down all day too. ^2 trains, but the third was on the maintenance track in flying position with water dummies! So three train operation may be coming very soon!
  7. They had the SR thing down today! They just filled all the rows and then added the single riders in at the end. I went four times today and the only times I saw a seat go out empty was if there was no one in the single rider line! Then again... The regular line was only at the set of switchbacks inside the station. Not even close to the entrance.
  8. Wow today was awesome! I got to the park around 12:30 and got out just a little before 5. Here was my ride count. Green Lantern x1 (Single Rider 5 min) Batman x1 (5 min) Twisted Colossus x4 (5 min each via Single Rider) Scream x1 (5 min) Lunch (20 min) Superman x2 (once on each side, 10 min wait each) Tatsu x1 (55 min wait, didn't open until late today but running both stations with 4 ops checking seats on each side) X2 x1 (15 min, even shorter after I got off) All that in 4 hours! What a day!
  9. Yesterday, Tatsu was running two stations all day. Superman was running both sides for 3 or 4 hours. TC was running 3 trains all day. Oh, and I should mention about Apocalypse. The new train win the black restraints is much rougher than the old train with orange restraints. I didn't enjoy it as much in the black train and then it seriously hauled in the orange train. Waits in the Screamounk District decline a LOT in the afternoon. Around 11:30, the line for TC was out the entrance, down to Scream, and back to the entrance. And Scream's line was barely poking out the entrance. By 4:00, TC's line was inside the entrance and Scream was only a station wait! Rides like Tatsu and X2 had long waits around then.
  10. No way it was running 3 trains on Friday. Today the third train was on the maintenance track with no headrests and have the restraints missing. It has been sitting that way for almost a year! But that is alright. That is train #3, which is by far the roughest of the 3. For some reason, train 2 is the smoothest by far. Train 1 (which I rode today) is just okay.
  11. Just rode 10 minutes ago and dueled both laps. Has been consistently dueling all day.
  12. SFMM isn't even that bad. I was very very disappointed with operations at SFOG. Those were probably the worst I've ever seen. 7-8 min dispatches on Goliath with 2 trains, double stacking on DDD, and don't even get me started with Superman. The ride ops were just talking the whole time. Six Flags Magic Mountain really isn't that bad with operations.
  13. ^Apocalypse isn't even rough. I don't get where people are saying that. It literally has seat cushions that are like 3 inches deep! How can sitting on a couch be painful? When I rode it two weeks ago, there was no line so I went 4 times in a row without getting out!
  14. TV screens being added into the queue as we speak!
  15. Mind Bender and Goliath are your MUST rides. (Mmmmm... Mind Bender... ) Other notables if you can get on them are Batman, Superman, Georgia Scorcher, Scream Machine, and Dare Devil Dive. Speaking of which, if you get to the park before opening, go to Dare Devil Dive first thing, since it's a low capacity coaster with a super slow line. Thanks! I can skip Batman since I'm a SFMM regular. I'll definitely get on those two. And whatever others will be icing on the cake!
  16. Heading to SFOG for only 5 hours on Saturday. What are must-rides?
  17. The Green TC train is currently in the cycle shop. It just simply hasn't been needed yet. The ride has been operating all 3 existing trains everyday since about a week after opening. Maintenance has started to get a rhythm and so have the ops on this ride. The fourth one will magically appear when one of the first three goes into rehab, so that three train operation will continue.
  18. Thank you! I totally forgot to bring this up! This happened to me many times yesterday. On one of my rides where we dueled both laps, the blue went down first. The problem is that the computer is programmed to have the trains line up at the top of the lift. Since the two lift chains (and therefore trains) are traveling at different speeds, the blue will go over AND DOWN the drop faster than the green. The computer program needs to be fixed to account for this. But the reason why it happens is just because the blue goes over the top and drops at a greater speed than the green, causing them to not sync up very well.
  19. Oh yeah, and TC isn''t squeaking at all anymore. Not on the turn out of the station or anywhere else!! I also had rides with insane amounts of airtime, like hurting my thighs, and lamer rides with barely any ejector, all in the same row today! It's strange!
  20. I really like row 3. Row 3 and Row 9 are the best ones I've found so far.
  21. GOLIATH UPDATE: The new chain has arrived at the park and the crews have been in the process of installing the new one for the past two days. Ride operators were saying the ride should be operational next weekend.
