TNR is a disaster. They can't clean and charge the headsets fast enough to fill and dispatch the trains, even with 5-7 minute dispatches. Around half the trains are only sent half full (or with single riders filling the other half). The employees are working really really hard and it's not their fault that everything goes so slowly. They need about three times as many headsets as they have with how many are malfunctioning and how many die every few cycles. About 20% of the riders on each train get to reride because the VR didn't work for them. Plus, I enjoyed my ride in the front row without VR a lot more than any of my rides with VR.

Alright, so if I get FP+, it will be Tuesday only (not Monday). So what is a good game plan for Monday? I have early entry. Haven't been since 2013 so quite a bit has changed. I'll be there til closing as well. -

I'll be there the 18th and the 19th. Staying at Sandcastle Suites. I'll be there open-close both days. Would FL+ be useful to me one of those days? Or could I get multiple rerides on all major coasters without it? I'm not buying until the day of either way but just want a heads up. Also, I know CP has a bad weather policy, but is it true that they have lightened up in the past couple years? -
If it's really busy, then the line for X2 just plain won't shorten very much because there are so many people in the park. However, I have never been when it hasn't shortened to some extent. Even on super busy days, I've pretty much seen a 90 minute line in the morning shrink to 60 by 4pm. It will usually shrink by a half hour or so. X2 was a walk-on from 3-6 pm yesterday so there should be some luck next week. Also for Tatsu, get in line in the last 15 minutes before closing and you'll have a really short line. Even on really busy days. I've seen a 90 min line shrink to only 20 min right before closing.

i had no chance on x2 then as it was down for pretty much the whole week... as for TC, how much quicker do they run with three trains - it seemed like forever with only two trains running. and how does it affect "racing" aspect of it? and is it me or the lap bar a bit peculiar? Much much faster with 3 trains. 2 trains takes forever, but not as bad as 1. With only 1, the most efficient crew can have about a 6 minute dispatch. Some water slides get a better capacity than that!

I haven't been since 2013, so it's been a while. What kind of lines are we looking at for the big 4? 30 min? 2 hours? Not too sure exactly how crowded this place gets during the week in July. When I went in 2013 it was first weekend in June and even MF was only a 5 minute wait. TTD was walk-on. I'm guessing that isn't typical. -

Hey everyone! I'm looking to head to CP July 17-19. Is it worth it to get FL or FL+ just for the 18th since that will be our only full day there? How crowded will it likely be? We would stay at Breakers so we have early entry. On the days the don't have FL, what order should we go on the rides? Sorry to be the annoying guy that asks the same question that someone else asks every week, but thank you everyone for the help! -
When I was there, there was at least one train on the transfer track with 2 trains being dispatched for one side of the station. But later in the day, they were using both sides, so it logically makes sense to put another train on, but I can't be sure. Definitely only two trains. They do this with two trains everyday.

^ I just usually say that the maximum score isn't perfection. It's just the maximum score. It's like making a test with 110 questions but giving the maximum at 100. So even if someone got all 110 correct, you would still only get 100 points, the same as someone who only got 100 correct. So when I'm rating my day, I kinda go on that scale. Days that were fun but not outstanding get 5 stars, even if they weren't perfect.

^Go to X2 first. They are only running one train and that line gets up to and stays at 3 hours on weekends and 60-90 minutes on weekdays. Revolution won't get much more than 30-45 min on weekends... YOLO won't be much more than 40. Goliath also holds consistently long lines now as well so consider checking that one out.

i forgot to ask about a single rider line, or a line for the front. seems when i was there yesterday, and pics from the weekend that the front is almost always vacant. Interesting you mention that. I saw several trains cycle through with nobody in the front car, and I thought it was kind of weird. It's still weird though, that they would send it empty instead of with guests in goggles. There's no QR code to calibrate the goggles in the front row. That's why it's sent empty a lot of the time.
