Every ride will be a walk on or like 5 min or less all day Tuesday except X2 and Superman. There's no real reason to even have a plan. Go to X2 first since it's running one train. If it's not open just keep an eye out for it all day. They will likely open it up later and you can beat the crowds there. Also, hit Superman early or else you might wait a bit, but still probably 20 min or less on Tuesday. Have fun and enjoy your marathon!!

X2 still has 3 trains. Trains 1 and 2 had been running for a long time and train 3 has been completely off the transfer for almost a year now. The maintenance on that train has been really slow so now Train 2 has far exceeded its cycle count and has been moved to the transfer. Hopefully train 3 comes back soon, because that line moves painfully slow with only one train and hosts waits of 3 hours even on days where it isn't that busy.

The whole parking situation was terrible. My friend was on the old road heading north between Valencia blvd and Magic Mountain Pkwy at 11:00 and he turned around at 2 because he wasn't even by Red Lobster yet. It was a total mess. Once past the toll booths, they did a great job parking cars as quickly as possible. Inside the park, even at 1pm Tatsu was only running one station. Queue lines spewed into midways but were handled well for the most part. But food lines went into the midway uncontrollably. Nowhere to walk around. Also, after about 1 it felt like Disneyland in there, having to squeeze between other guests. I had never seen food locations so crowded. TC's line was up to the Screampunk sign most of the afternoon. Every ride had a line to at least the entrance, even Viper. I think they were expecting a lot of people, but not as many as actually showed up. Pretty sure that's the busiest day the park has had in many years. There was also a cheer competition going on. It was very cool to see and people watch though!

Did they use some type of different paint on X2? It's amazing how leading into its 9th year of operation, X2 still looks brand new, but Tatsu, only 2 years older, is much worse. I'm very curious. They've used better, more expensive paint that penetrates the sun much better on everything since Tatsu. That's why Goliath and Batman (which were painted the year after in 2007) still look good as well. And Superman from 2011 still looks good too. They used bad paint on everything before that back through the 90s. Old Scream, Goliath, and X looked terrible after like 2 years after they opened. Tatsu and Riddler's Revenge still do. The paint switch was a really great decision.

Adding a 2nd train to Xcelerator doesn't increase theoretical capacity much, but it increases actual capacity a ton. Most coasters have really slow dispatches when they are only running one train, since there is no gauge of time for when the other train gets back for the ride ops. Nothing happens if they go slower. There's no other train to stack. With two trains, the ops see the other train sitting there waiting so they will get the one in the station out faster. I've seen this countless times. So it's not only the slight capacity increase from the 2nd train, it's also loading and dispatching each individual train faster.

^X2 usually opens on time now. Only do YOLO first if it had a 2-3 train wait or less when you get there. Anything more than that and you'll be set behind. Then head on down to TC and the line should still be pretty short. Then I recommend Scream, then Lex Luthor, then Goliath. After that head back to Green Lantern, Batman, and Riddlers. I'd recommend eating lunch now. Then you can head up to Superman (if it's only running one side around 1 PM, then it will be all day, and it will have a long line all day no matter what, so you may as well wait for it now. Then you can head to Ninja. Next I'd recommend riding Viper, followed by X2. By this time in the afternoon, it should have a shorter wait, as short as it's going to get during the day. Then I'd do Apocalypse and any rerides you wanna do. Save Tatsu for last ride of the day, and ride as close to closing time as possible. The line diminishes significantly right before closing. Have fun!!

^YOLO is running two trains right now, as with every other coaster in the park. At the park right now. It is insanely packed (parking in dirt lot). Currently in line for Ninja and the entire queue is full except the first couple switchbacks in the first area. Everything else is even longer. Hopefully the cold tonight scares people away for HITP and can get on rides faster then. TC was fueling great this morning probably 80-85% of the time when I was there!

They've been decently accurate at Magic Mountain when I've used it. I've never found something to be very far off from the actual wait time. Like a really long wait on the app wasn't actually short and a really short wait on the app was never really long. It's a good guide even if it isn't 100% accurate. The times updated every 10 min or so.
