  1. Nickelodeon Universe
  2. Can't wait to ride Banshee this season. It is gigantic
  3. Yeah, this year orchestra is heading to Kansas City for Worlds of Fun and the entire grade is going to Six Flags. I honestly only really care about Worlds of Fun since I have a season pass to SFSTL already
  4. I'm guessing it cost too much to repaint and touch up the queues so they just decided to remove it all. I blame the idiots who enjoy sticking gum everywhere and peeling the paint off the walls and railings. The teens that Six Flags attracts would rather destroy the queue than enjoy the themeing.
  5. I can't make it but it sounds like an awesome trip, especially for the price. It would be cool to have a less expensive trip option like this every once and a while because it is such an awesome deal. I need to get my butt on a TPR trip soon
  6. I have only ridden Raven once because it had a long wait, plus I highly favored Legend and Voyage and those two had walk ons all day. I don't know why but I just wasn't impressed with Raven at all. When I make it up there for Holliwood Nights this summer I plan to ride it a lot, so hopefully my opinion of the ride will change. Great photos. Interesting to see you rank Voyage above Outlaw Run. I honestly love both and they are #1 and #2 overall on my coaster list. But I just feel Outlaw Run is in a completely different league than Voyage. But to each their own. Seems like you had a great trip, even if some of your coasters were let downs
  7. Okay, for those wondering what I am talking about, here is a photo I found in a photo TR, credit goes to "Condor" The hydrant and "stones" have been sitting there without the police car for at least three seasons
  8. My school is heading up to Worlds of Fun on May 17, 2014 for their orchestra festival. What crowds or lines should I expect? Would it be worth it to get Fast Lane?
  9. Definites: -Silver Dollar City (season pass) -Six Flags St. Louis (season pass) -Worlds of Fun Possibilities: -Holiday World -Kings Island -Cedar Point -Kentucky Kingdom -Six Flags Great America
  10. Those pictures of the fireworks coming off the Stratosphere are absolutely stunning This is a great trip report. Holiday time in the southwest looks like a great time.
  11. Dragon Challenge
  12. If they are screaming on the Roller Skaters I'd love to see their reactions to a megalite Great photos. Even if the Philippines are kinda low on thrills, they definitely make up for it with excellent themeing.
  13. Six Flags St. Louis
  14. Damn that tunnel is going to be really big. It looks almost 25 feet deep!
  15. Universal announced Diagon Alley before they announced the rides going into it I believe. I'm not even sure Disney knows exactly what rides are going into Pandora yet.
  16. So does this mean Timberline Twister isn't leaving?
  17. Banshee looks like its track could very well be completed by the end of the month. One reason I could see the new trains being better is that they may give more arm room. On the "old" B&M trains there is only room for one person to hold on to the OTSR handles. Just a minor nitpick, but still
  18. I love Phineas and Ferb and would welcome something to replace the current state of the Imagination ride but I don't feel that they are 'timeless' and would work for a long term attraction. I worry the whole thing will end up like KimPossible. I agree. Phineas and Ferb's feature film was moved back to 2014 and then just pulled off the schedule which leaves me to believe Disney is planning on ending the series soon. No Disney Channel show is timeless, look at Hannah Montana and Kim Possible for example. Highly popular shows that lasted a long time and then lost their fan base after being pulled off the air. That is probably why no major attraction based off a Disney Channel show has ever been built.
  19. You can turn on the 'confirm donut spend' in your settings to prevent that from happening again. http://tstoaddicts.com/tag/confirm-donut-spend/ Thanks for the help! Hopefully I'll never accidentally spend some of my precious donuts again
  20. Agreed completely. Batman was awesome when it first opened, easily the best coaster in the state. I remember being awed by the themeing in the queue area the first time I rode it. We either went opening year, 1995, or maybe it was 1996. They were advertising heavily down here though, and offering half price admission to entice us hill folk to make the three hour voyage to the other side of the state. Batman is still my favourite coaster at SFStL, and it's been a pity the way current management has let a lot of things go. It seems they may finally be taking an interest in making the park a nice place to visit again. Now all they need is a decent children's area. Theirs hardly compares to SDC's Grand Expo and Half Dollar Holler and WoF's Planet Snoopy and Dinosaurs Alive. If we're going to spend $200 going to a theme park, it's got to have something for everyone, including my 2 year old. The park's management has been doing great, except for a few ride queues such as Batman. Corporate gives the park a budget, and SFSTL does a great job with what they get. It costs money to get kiddie rides and fix up ride queues, and Six Flags doesn't always give STL the money they need.
