  1. ^ That's a cool idea but I think Green Lantern is at a park that already has a floorless (Medusa right?) so they for sure would not need another sit down or floorless.
  2. Sea World San Diego Legoland (CA) Knott's Berry Farm Disneyland Six Flags Magic Mountain Universal Studios Hollywood
  3. My only question is does it actually go to supporting the project or is it going into the shareholders pockets. If not either of those charity would be nice.
  4. Dive Machine through a dolphin tank. Hey that's not half bad. (Sea World take note)
  5. Well the only problem that I really have with another suspended is that Knott's has such a tight land mass I think it would just be a waste of space to put in another family coaster when they already have 3, 2 of which have been put in very recently.
  6. Well SB is already like the family mine train of inverted coasters. I just think it would be kind of redundant.
  7. ^ It has a good amount of flaw in logic but I get what is being said. What I can say is I think that mack may join the big two (Intamin and B&M) as one of the big coaster manufacturer's in a few years.
  8. ^ I just don't think they will put in another suspended coaster with SB already in the park. I think the space would better be used by some major coaster or a few intense flats and an El Loco.
  9. Oh ok I guess I was wrong. I was told on another forum that a mega-lite takes up a lot of space for it's size. Guess I should have just stuck with my initial impressions and research on them.
  10. I think the reason people are complaining is that they're up to 18 coasters and not a single one of them is worth going out of your way to travel just to ride it. This SHOULD be a park that people would want to travel to, like the ones you visit on TPR trips, but it's obviously not. With X2 being the only one of it's kind in the US as well as being an insane experience to begin with don't you think that's worth traveling for? That's not even getting into Tatsu, one of the best flying coasters in the world as well as a bunch of other lesser, yet fun and thrilling coasters.
  11. I also think that for such a modest height these rides take up quite a bit of room. Certainly a possible factor for them not being ordered more in the US.
  12. ^ But it also won't be the ride that ranks top 10 in enthusiast polls or make people wish every park had their own version (Maverick).
  13. ^ I have to agree with you. B&M's are good rides with a few standouts but for the most part borrow many elements from each other to create very similar ride experiences while Intamin is constantly trying new things.
  14. ^ I went too HHN this year and had a blast but I always wonder if I would have even more fun going to Knott's. Also you talked a lot about both events and how they have been doing in past years but if you directly compared them both just this year which one was better overall?
  15. While Six Flags Magic Mountain may not be near the level of Knott's or USH at least they are improving upon their own event each year the best that they can.
  16. ^ Please work on your spelling. There is a spell check feature while you are writing your post that has helped me double check how things are spelled.
  17. For those who have been to both Halloween Horror Nights and Knott's Scary Farm this year which event was better?
  18. Wow if that is true Blackout has an hourly capacity of 240 pph. That just seems way too low for a maze.
  19. ^ Ok thank you. I also bet Knott's probably gets a good amount of construction done in november due to low crowds levels so a winter opening does make some sense.
  20. ^ Do you know why Knott's opens major attractions in the winter instead of during the summer or spring like most parks? I know Knott's is year round but dosen't it make more sense from a business perspective to open attractions in the peak crowd times like summer?
  21. I'm guess no coaster planned for 2013. I just can't see them announcing a coast for 2013 this late in the game. Designing the new area to have temporary flat rides and a new area makes sense. They can plan what to do with the new space and mark it out for a new coaster for 2014 as they are building it. Well if it is a large wild mouse then it could easily be announced this late.
  22. ^ I totally agree with you. Do we all think that the announcement will probably follow the end of Haunt?
  23. Still hoping that Knott's will somehow get a coaster like an El Loco instead of a relocated clone of a wild mouse. I also hope that since the giga coaster project seems to be on hold at least for a couple years that Knott's will get a dark ride and a Ghostrider re-track in the mean time as well as those rumored flats.
  24. Steel: Superman Escape From Krypton (415ft.) Wood: Colossus (125ft.)
