  1. ^ I could see Knott's putting in a few flat rides in Perilous Plunges place, including the scrambler. I am just not sure how they would integrate the bridge. The pool itself could have water effects installed to go along with the flats but I am not so sure what the bridge could be used for.
  2. ^ I would add that being kind of the hybrid park between Disneyland and Magic Mountain probably helps a bit for people like me who like good theming and good rides.
  3. I wrote the thing about Pony Express being dull as a bad joke. But truthfully the ride is pretty terrible. The ride has a slow moving line, a ride time of about 30 seconds, and the ride that's there really does not justify any wait over 10 minutes.
  4. The video shows the supports on either side of the plaza which is not reality due the placement of the footer markers that thecoasterguy took pictures of.
  5. Look at the announcement video again. It will look like that. Go to thecoasterguy.com's website and look at his latest trip report. You will notice that their are markers on the midway. Plus announcement videos are known for just giving the basics of the ride so FL will probably not be exactly what you see in the video.
  6. I am kind of bummed that it looks like supports will be going on top of the Superman plaza. It does not seem like it would be that much of a support problem to just put supports on either side of the plaza. Also I wonder how ugly the plaza will be with FT crossing over because since it is going over something where people walk it will probably need nets which will look rather ugly.
  7. Cough *Pony Express* Cough. I agree completely.
  8. ^ Agreed. So Vague. A thrill ride could be a coaster, flat ride, or anything considered above a family attraction.
  9. ^ Oh ok that makes perfect sense. That could be a real bummer if it were to happen. Especially if they are well liked by the GP.
  10. I am sure this was already said but why are HUSS parts so rare?
  11. ^ Zacs spins layout's are insane, they just are really painful sometimes which really hurts the ride experience, as well as your body.
  12. Nice update. See there is no letting up on PP's demolition.
  13. ^ It really is insane. I felt like I was never stopped for more than a few seconds on that ride. Plus I think they run something like 5 or 6 trains at once.
  14. They really did a nice job with this ad. Well done Knott's.
  15. From what I can tell it is due to ops moving at the fastest speeds they can. Don't they load two trains at a time also though?
  16. Yah rides with small vehicles can still get a decent capacity if the ride ops are trying hard at their job. Sadly this is usually not the case.
  17. Well in General B&M's have good capacity. There stand-ups and flyers can be a bit slow at loading but still get good capacity compared to most other attractions.
  18. I think it would be cool if they made a haunt maze that was based off a destroyed amusement park. They could use PP's track and Boat's and really make a cool maze through some of the wreckage. If they aren't going to put Scrambler back in they could use that too.
  19. ^ I thought the buoy was cool too. Would have been hard to find a good place for it though.
  20. ^ I have personally never been on one but I really have no need for another coaster that goes upside down a bunch of times. There are already too many of those in CA
  21. Dive Machine already ruled out by people 'in the know'. What do you mean by a Dive Machine already being ruled out? I sure don't remember reading anything about that in this forum or anywhere else.
  22. If I had to choose between a hyper or a dive machine for Knott's Berry Farm I think for this park I would choose a dive machine. I think a dive machine would minimize the chances of another silver bullet, while a hyper could just be silver bullet part 2.
