^^ Yah I will be interested as to how I think this compares to Xcelerator. Also I was watching the pov video and at the end of the ride the station is not in the same place as log jammer's station. You will notice that it is parallel to the brake run which is weird to me because this would not be the same spot as log jammer's station.

^ Then they could build a Giga coaster over this ride since it take absolutely no vertical space. JK that would be ugly.

^ Cost and room. They would have had to put the snake dive farther away from the tunnel which would have probably made it cross over the midway on the other side. Also MM seems to have put in a "world class" coaster as cheaply as possible so satisfying our need for length and air were not much a concern.

^ Screaming swing would be nice but I would rather Knott's upgrade theirs and MM get something else.

^ Also includes a finale section where you race through the wreckage of PP until you hit the splashdown and then a turn into the station.

^ Well living in South CA im not exactly what you would call a flat ride expert considering how poor we are on such things . But I would like some thrilling flats and not some kiddie flat ride. Zamperla Disko's look cool to me (hope im spelling it right).

Well just looking at a satellite view it sure seems like there would be enough room after this ride is constructed to fit a few flats to the right of the top hat and break run of the coaster. Or MM could rebuild the lake and have something gorgeous to look at. A giant loop and top hat with a lake in front of it to complete the moment. Dang that sounds nice and sadly too good to be true.

Flatrides+ Magic Mountain? Does not compute!! Haha I know right. But it would make up for it. MM lacks two great things: Airtime and Flats.

Watch Knott's get the best coaster of the year while were all worried there getting something small, crappy, or/and gimmicky.

^ They should put in some good flat rides in the rest of the area not used to make up for the fact that they barely used any of the space taken up by log jammer.

I am pretty happy with the ride overall but disappointed that the ride ends after the "top hat". Why couldn't they have had a turn to the left and then a helix and a airtime hill into the brakes to just add some more meat to the layout. Hopefully the backward's launch turns out to be fun and not a waste of speed.

Was really hoping for an announcement today. Now im just in complete suspense waiting for an unknown period of time.

If we got something like Divertical I would not be disappointed about not getting a larger coaster.

^ I wouldn't say that they always disappoint. It is more that they haven't put in a large attraction in a while which makes me hope that they will either have a string of medium new projects (GR rehab + trains, dark ride, PP replacement ride) or put in one large, giant attraction that will just blow us all away. Either way works with me.

Intamin water coaster anyone?

^ Yah it really fits the theme much better than a shooting range.

Silver Bullet is the most intense B&M invert ever and blends perfectly with it's surroundings. Knott's really knew what they were doing when they built this monster.

^^ That's a good point. Maybe it will have the loop and the top hat thing and then will have a whole nice layout after that. Maybe the loop/ top hat is just the first part of the ride.

^^ Maybe the launch will go through the tunnel. Also if the launch is amazing then I don't know if we will hear too many "it's too short complaints". Just look at xcelerator. It's a top hat and a figure 8. ^ Was hoping for something better though.

Screamscape just reported that whatever the new coaster is it will only use PP spot. Now this is only a rumor but it still makes you wonder what is actually in store for Knott's after all.

^ It might have been a joke but it is hard to tell.

All I can get out of this is that Six Flags is cheap.
