  1. ^ All I can say is it still would be better than SB because its only ruining one building instead of a quarter of the park. But your right it would not be ideal but maybe they could leave the face of the building standing and just gut out the back part.
  2. ^ That is true. I just wonder when they plan on doing the announcement. I assume some time after PP closes.
  3. They could really make this coaster shine with some good audio and a good theme.
  4. ^ Plus a dive machine would be awesome on the west coast. And with FT at MM being slightly under whelming it would not be hard for Knott's to knock FT out of the park with a dive machine. Plus they could use PP's lake area for a splashdown.
  5. ^ It makes sense to remove the building if the other attractions and can be moved elsewhere and there is no better way to fit in a large coaster. Plus out of all the attractions in the building the eatery is the only one making substantial money. Whenever I go to play lazer tag there is no one in the building besides me and whoever I went to the park with. I understand your points about why removing this building would not make sense but I think it is totally something that should be at least considered by the park for a new, large attraction.
  6. ^ Sure it's a lot but Knott's has moved/demolished large areas of their park before for coasters. Just look at what they did for SB.
  7. ^ Your right im used to getting track length announced at these thing's so it sure leaves room open for speculation but I doubt there is anymore to this ride.
  8. ^ Im sure people said there is no way Knott's would build a giant red and yellow coaster on top of a lake and destroy the edge of ghost town. Look how that turned out. Plus the three things that are housed there could easily be moved elsewhere as well as Johnny Rocket's if they wanted even more space. As many members on this forum have said "if there's a will, there's a way".
  9. ^ Obviously. Were talking about a coaster that could be built in 2013/14. plus they don't need to demo PP and KOD at the same time so really trapped is a non issue and could be dealt with later after haunt is over.
  10. ^ Ahhh ok well then I guess they would just get rid of as much as they could.
  11. Im sorry about that. What about if they tore down the KOD building and the coasters restauraunt and relocated those midway games as well as move the Johnny Rocket's HVAC system elsewhere?
  12. I doubt you could fit Maverick in PP's spot. if you wanna post images that show it could work that would be awesome.
  13. You should have low crowds on both days due to people being back in school.
  14. ^ Agreed. Sure getting hyped up by this thread and then getting let down hurt, but I still think this is a great and fun ride.
  15. Don't worry FT is going to be a great ride. It's just not going to be the ride that hits #1 on all the coaster polls like it could have been.
  16. ^ Agreed I don't want them to completely destroy this ride, just spice up the hills to have airtime and the turns to have purpose instead of just turning the train around for the next hill.
  17. ^ Haha well the Major coaster I didn't specify on because there are so many good options. Also this list is not necessarily in the order I want the park to get all these things.
  18. I think they meant "Tallest Inversion". It seems like this coaster was the most anticipated coaster to be announced, and now it seems the majority of those who were excited were let down. The turn after loop looks like it could be pretty intense, and hopefully the TopHat has enough airtime to quiet every down. Im just waiting for something to be released that shows a second half to this ride. Unfortunately, I don't think its coming... It would't be tallest inversion because of Gatekeeper's roll over at 170ft.
  19. I hope my retort didn't seem too rude I was just pointing it out. There is a chance that I am wrong so if anyone knows for sure that I am please say something.
  20. Why don't you think it's possible? All that would have to be done is all the changes on the ride would have to be mirrored onto the other sides track.
  21. The only thing that makes me thing MM would totally do it is because it would be the only duel hybrid coaster and since MM loves gimmicks this would be perfect.
  22. My 5 year wish list for Knott's: GR retrack+ new trains+ minor theming elements on first turn around. Dark ride Major coaster to take up PP's spot and possibly surrounding area and parking lot Replacement flat for Screamin Swing. (Larger model would count also)
  23. ^ Sure hope not with Windseeker being so close. Save the money MM and put in a decent flat instead. The GP will love it as they probably have never enjoyed a decent flat in their lives living in CA.
