^ I will say I am more excited about Gold Striker than Full Throttle, I just wanted to do a comparison between Knott's and SFMM because they are more direct competitors due to location. I am so excited to finally try a Flying Scooters though. It's actually more exciting to me than Coast Rider. (Gold Striker is the best coaster in 2013 for CA, I will not even try nor want to fight that)

Knott's Berry Farm really seems to enjoy putting things in water. Silver Bullet and now this. But at least this time it looks good. This is going to be a great area if they can find a way to block off the view of the road and keep that boardwalk looking ground near the attractions like in the rendering.

^ An El Loco would have been great but I really think this addition is just to balance out the amount of family rides in the Boardwalk. Now you won't only see thrill seekers walking back there, you will see families too which will hopefully will take the load off other areas of the park. As for capacity all three of these rides have better capacity than Perilous Plunge ever did.

I am actually quite stoked about this announcement. I have never been on a Flying Scooters so that's actually what I am most excited about. A wild mouse is....well.... a wild mouse but at least it's yet another ride for families especially in an area with so few. Scrambler's are fun so I really can't complain except for lack of originality (same case with the wild mouse).

What is your favorite launch coaster?

Xcelerator at Knott's Berry farm. An oldie but goodie. Love the launch and the overbanks give it just enough length to make you feel like you weren't cheated when you get off. -
Hurricane Sandy vs. Roller Coasters

^ He already talked about Six Flags New Orleans and what happened to it after the hurricane and why it was not rebuilt. Plus those aren't piers with crappy coasters. Those are entire amusement parks. -

^ I think your policies on banning make total sense. Forums would be so boring if people weren't allowed to argue with each other within reason. Thank you for always being consistent with crimes vs. punishments and for continuing to create such a great site for people like all of us. -

I hope that people understand that just because you don't agree with someones point of view dosen't grant you the right to personally attack someone on their opinion. Sure I might not agree with everything Robb says but this site is one of the best out there for this subject and if you can't learn to at least tolerate others opinions then you should not view or be a member of this site. Just my two cents. -

I wanted to make a joke but that looks so terrible it would be in very bad taste. Sure hope no one was near that. -
Worst Coaster Ever?
thestripedtaco replied to Mind Eraser's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I have had two rides so far on Green Lantern. My first ride I encountered no pain and thought it was an amazing ride. The second time I got the most insanely painful jolt in the legs during the final element into the station. I almost started crying it was so painful. I laugh every time I see someone complaining about Skyrush being very painful because there really is no comparison to the stress that final element put's on your legs. I think it might be due to the fact that I was flipped upside down and then yanked downwards in a tight radius as by the rides design and just was in the worst rotation possible for that kind of vertical turn.
