Old post, but I'll concur that this is pretty rad. Even though the original is epic. Yeah I have always liked the original. This punk version just does the song so much justice. I think recently I have been leaning more towards Metallica - Battery as my favorite song.

Even if I got a smooth ride on Mean Streak the ride around that course is just so boring I can't stand it. We usually give it a ride on each visit but it does nothing for me.

I enjoyed my short visit to KD. We will be heading back either next year or the year after and doing BGW as well. We are looking to stay for probably a week and enjoy the Williamsburg area.

let us not forget Diamondbacks opening line! I remember getting off of it at 9:15am walking over to ride beast and seeing that line for Diamondback. I am surprised the opening day line for I305 was that short.

As much as I like Cedar Point and being a little creative with names, I cannot stand the name Rougarou. I am not Scooby-Doo quit trying to make me sound like him when I talk.

Easily my Favorite ride was El Diablo. List is dead on. Excellent work Weather Channel.

I also would like to recommend staying away from places to the east and west of the main strip. I can't remember the names of the places but there were two one on each side of cedar point that I stayed at that were absolutely horrible. Edit: Roadway in North is the one that was the worst. I would never stay there again. I believe Quality inn Cedar Point is the other one that we thought was horrible.

My family has season passes for Kings Island and we will also be doing a trip to Dollywood first week of June.

So I was once below the age of 21 making trips to Cedar Point have an adult book for you in some way and the age shouldn't be a problem. It never was for us and i would even Travel for snowboarding and stay in hotels on my own at 16/17. That was a decade ago though. That finale at night is one of the most intense experiences on a coaster out there to me.

Banshee is pretty awesome at night, I do still prefer to finish the night on The Beast though. Also no ride on Banshee will surpass that first ride I had during media day with all of the fog sitting in the valley and having all of the lights on at 5 in the morning.

All I could think of when I first read the article from a local news station this weekend was Slayers Raining Blood. The article mentioned that it was like a thunderstorm with blood raining down. Which thunder happens to be at the beginning of the song. I feel bad for all of the families involved in the incident. It wasn't really embarassing just annoying but i had a girl blast me in the face with a softball at the milk can game at Kings Island while I was working it. She did it on purpose for whatever reason and got thrown out. I started to credit whore at Holiday world last year. I got on their kiddie coaster by myself and as it started I realized it was just dumb and I would rather spend my time at attractions I like and let kids have that spot. I opted for 6 rides on I305 this past season instead of the woodies at Kings Dominion on my only trip there.

Are these people that are complaining after paying for the trip or complaining and saying why they can't afford it or won't pay to go? To me it is pretty simple if you don't like the price or the plan don't go. Let someone else go who can afford it and will enjoy their time. It is unfortunate that people felt the need to complain about that (or as I read in another thread at some point that they would complain about missing kiddie credits). Also if for some reason you end up doing tours that are open to anyone to sign up Depending on timing I think they look like a lot of fun and would probably try to go. The wife and I discussed doing a Japan trip with the group, so if that ever happens again count us in.
