Every log flume keeps a line, but you're right. It's a great family attraction which is really the point. It has mass appeal. So they couldn't even fill the boats on a 78 degree day while the flume's line was spilling all the way over the bridge. Like I said... nobody would miss it. Might as well re-name it Felicia the ride and tell it goodbye if you want to cut costs. It was like that when we showed up at noon. I'm not sure later in the day. -

Congo falls had almost full boats. That log flume keeps a line because little kids can ride and it's right on the edge of Planet Snoopy. I still miss Keelboat -

Our experience was pretty bad. A big portion is my fault and I don't really blame the park for anything except some annoying fees (more on that later. My wife had gall bladder surgery on Thursday, she was feeling good and thought it sounded fun to people watch and walk around a bit at the park while I took my son (2 1/2) on some rides. We checked with friends and the webcams at 11:30 and lines weren't horrendous like I though they would be. Turns out everyone decided to show up when we did. It wasn't really planned so we weren't fully prepared. We were there during the part of the day my son normally naps and he had only ate a little bit for lunch. He threw a tantrum the entire time we were there, and I only managed to get us a ride on one thing ( long lines and tantrums oo well). We decided I get some food with the meal plan we had just added to the passes when we got to the park. At about 2 the lines at every food place were ungodly long. We had gone to the festhaus since it's the biggest and has the most room. My wife moved two feet in line in ten minutes while I fought with my son, during said fight I lost my pass and didn't realize it until we got to the car. I decided enough was enough and we left. I refuse to wait more than a half hour in a line for food hopefully this is just an opening day thing which I think it will be but yay for after $400+ in passes in meal plans and having to pay $15 for a lost pass replacement. Tldr: today sucked, I planned bad, got no food. I hope everyone else that went had a great time. I have learned from my mistakes. -

Eh for me I don't really care who is making it when it comes to delays. I would rather them have delays and set backs to push new types of rides and technologies to give us the best and most innovative they can over just doing what works even though it may not be as exciting. I know this is hard on the parks, but from my viewpoint i am perfectly fine with the delay and other delays that happen. Not everything is going to be perfect. -

Pretty sure you can't run the tests needed to determine that without the track being completed. Track was completed shortly before the test runs -

I raised $1,300 for my front row ride on Banshee I don't think $500 is too much to ask of people that want to ride up front for the first train. -

Any Kroger will have you covered. Also their online prices are pretty much the same. If you're planning on going before the end of may you can buy a ticket for $30 on the website but it only lasts one more day for the sale I think. -

Plants vs Zombies has been around since 09 and is fairly popular. I would think the life would be about three years before it gets fitted with a new theme. -

Well I just officially cancelled my Dollywood trip. It is not because of Lightning Rod though. I will feel slightly less sad that I cancelled if the ride is still down the first week in June when I was supposed to be there. Disclaimer to avoid butthurt: No I don't hope the ride is still down then. -

I think a big coaster like Fury would boost attendance more than anything. every time I talk to people around here they like Diamondback better than Banshee and point to the drop and hills. I don't often hear from people saying that Banshee is their favorite in the park. -
What I find funny about people calling MF forceless is that I went to Cedar Point while dealing with a pulled muscle in my lower back. I rode everything in the park multiple times. Going in I was worried that my back would be an issue as it hurt to stand. The only ride that caused me pain from the forces that whole weekend was MF.

Yes, Dollywood should correct the issue to avoid confusion for guests who may have seen the commercial. This also doesn't mean the Dollywood is purposely lying to guests to get them to the park, It could be a legitimate mistake that occurred. As others have said it is a pretty easy fix. Do I think this is a conversation worth having? yes I do as that is what we are here for to discuss the happenings in the industry. With all of that said I have always hated how it has been okay for parks to have coasters/rides on their advertisements that are definitely not at the park. For instance seeing I305 on a Kings Island ad because they roll out the same video for every park to save money. I have always thought of that as false advertising, mainly because it would confuse me when I was a kid and I world go to the parks looking for these rides or ask my parents to take just to realize they are not there. It has always been a pet peeve of mine especially since these parks make how much? spend a little and make a commercial specific to each park in your chain. I know it will never change but that's my rant on the subject. -

It is odd to me that they would try to require someone to wear it to ride.
