If I lived out your way I would probably feel the same. I would recommend doing a day at KI on your Cedar Point trip as they are only three hours apart.

A Beast night ride is a life altering experience unlike any other.

I look forward to in the future reading your trip report on my home park of Kings Island. We don't have a sky ride but we do have an old log flume that they didn't take if you want to bring Bill along.

We went the last day to let my youngest ride a little and trick or treat. one it was stupid crowded and i miss the Sundays of walk on in the fall but at least i know it means more revenue for the park two I started not feeling well right when we got there had to leave within a half hour of arriving but my kid did get a bunch of candy and was happy three I think Mystic Timbers will be fun to watch all of the general public naysayers that don't understand fully what the coaster is and just think its like racer or beast.

Kings island and one day at Magic Kingdom for sure. I am hoping to upgrade to platinum at some point next season and make a trip out to Cedar Point and hopefully take the wife to Carowinds

The log flume was running Sunday morning when I was there.

I even though knowing the chance of it happening is extremely low have always had a bit of a ridiculous fear that the boat would flip just before that part of a rapids ride. I still ride but coming into that spot on White Water Canyon I can't help but think about it. Terribly sad for all involved. not a good story to start the day.

Yes they have had staffing issues. They were offering higher pay then they usually do to try to bring people in. While at haunt a couple weeks back the lady working the door of Slaughter House mentioned that they need 30-40 people for Field of Screams and they were struggling because so many people quit. They were down to 20-22 that Friday I was there.

This sounds like there in an unfortunate personal story behind it... Nope the place is just mediocre and overpriced/overhyped

This is just someone seeking attention. If I didn't like something or someone enough to want to burn my shirt/jersey I would just throw it in the trash with no video and move on in my life. I follow pretty closely here and on other social media and while it seems it is super easy to get banned i'm personally noticing if you actually can contribute and not be a complete dumbass you probably won't get banned for little thing. I have had at least two disagreements with Robb on here in the last couple of years and the most recent I fully thought I was going to get banned as he seems ban happy at times, but that was not the case.

I have been to a couple of things involving enthusiasts and i find myself not talking to certain people I see, airbrush "save Mean Streak" would probably be one. I fully admit I am nerd and i enjoy nerdy things but there is a certain level of this nerdyness I am not willing to cross. I also fully agree that these people that have crossed that threshold need to shower, but at the same time that tells me which ones to avoid even easier.

The only thing that the video lacks is pointing off into the distance.

If I spent that much on a guide and they acted like that I would have been complaining to whomever I would have to get my money back or something. You are spending what $400 a person for this guide to complain about her job and play on a phone to go with not knowing what she was doing? I am typically not the complaining type but that one would do it for me.

I did not notice any imperfections on my ride in the back row. Doesn't mean it's not there just putting it out there that I didn't notice anything.

Is it worth the risk? Hell yes it is. I took the risk going today and it paid off. I can't wait to try this thing at night one time.

I was at the park today it was a bit to hot to be there with kids. Pretty much only rode Lightning Rod and left. I rode around 2. They ran 2 trains the whole time with a 40 minute wait for me. I paid closer attention to normal to what was going on in the station they seemed really uptight about the gates so I could see what was said being true. My thoughts on the ride and my first RMC? A TEN A FU**ing TEN! It was so intense and everything was just a blur while it tries to fling you from the train. Nothing by ejector air at warp speed. I only got one ride but I'm pretty sure it is now my favorite.

Can't do that with the little ones, we also will have a cooler with drinks and some snacks (yes we are planning on cinnamon bread) so we will need somewhat easy access to the car

Do any local grocery stores sell discounted tickets? Also if anyone could answer how much is regular parking and preferred parking? We are headed there in the morning from lafollet Tenn.
