  1. After watching the video i am interested in the stand up slides, but not in a traditional sense. If you have some elevation change at the water park or even just building a slightly raised up platform id like to use these as transportation to other slides instead of having to walk on concrete.
  2. Would Anybody that is going to the park soon or frequents CP be willing to pick me up one of these and ship it to me? they should be available Saturday and i will be able to paypal the money to you to cover the price of shipping and item as well. coaster dynamix MF
  3. My biggest pet peeve involving amusement parks is when the company that owns them will use a commercial featuring others parks coasters. When i see an add for Kings Island and I305 is in it to me that's false advertising and it drives me crazy. I have had this pet peeve since i was young. I would see and advertisement then could not find the ride anywhere at the park leaving me confused and frustrated ( this was when i was like ten years old). A company like Cedar Fair makes enough money they can make individual commercials for each park. My other big pet peeve is when you stay at a hotel near an amusement park (especially the ones owned by the park) and the damn pool closes at ten when the park closes. Leave it open a couple of hours after the park closes so people can actually use it as most of your clientele is coming for the park and from the park.
  4. You really can't get any better for the price and location. We stayed there in June. It's not high end by any means but it does have some features i like including the pool staying open until midnight. Seriously this has always been a pet peeve of mine that these hotels and waterparks attached to hotels close pools at ten when the park closes. I along with many other people would like to go relax in the pool after a long day at a park. You also get to leave your car parked at the hotel so you don't have to pay for parking.
  5. Its like you live right next to me. Those are almost exactly the distances for me. I live in Northern Kentucky
  6. I live 4 and a half hours away from CP and 40 minutes from Kings island. The years we had Platinum Passes we visited Cedar Point more than Kings Island. So yes CP is close at that distance.
  7. It had to have been done today as i saw a picture yesterday of someone standing in front of it and Pipe Scream was still the last one on there. edit: and i just saw a picture where it has been added today.
  8. ^ i would like an XL one as well. lol
  9. Lamb of God - Erase this
  10. It's like splitting hairs when trying to decide which you like better I305 or Maverick.
  11. I still have an old Motorola razor flip phone that's the shape of the track because it fell out of my pocket on Magnum and hit the track. I was able to get it at the end of the night. It still received calls but that was it.
  12. Between the Buried and Me - Turn on the Darkness
  13. I am not one of those people saying you have to ride it a certain way. I just ride it and enjoy it.
  14. I wonder how many times that will be quoted.
  15. You might be a coaster nerd if... your wife suggests the name Millie for your daughter due in November and you are completely on board because of the nickname of a certain roller coaster.
  16. Thank you sir. We were very thankful they were able to get the footprints
  17. mine is not impressive in distance. maybe if you combine distance and time. 1400 miles 20 hours of driving and 2 parks in 42.5 hours of time. Cincinnati to Louisville where we hit Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville to Doswell Virginia for Kings Dominion. Doswell to Louisville to drop my friend off, Louisville to Cincinnati.
  18. I'm guessing you know how to ride it in the "right seats". I was so disappointed when I first rode it because I got a wheel seat in the back and it was almost too rough to enjoy. Later on I marathoned it in the front seat and it became my favorite coaster. Ideally every seat should be a good seat. With topper track, the only things that would change is that it would get smoother and maybe a little faster. It would still feel more or less like a wood coaster, but a better one. Really though, it's worth it just for HW's maintenance costs. I'm sure they're on the waiting list. Raven is pretty good as is, though if they needed topper track there as well for maintenance that would only be an improvement as well. Legend, on the other hand, could be a candidate for a bit more improvement. Maybe the don't want to go full RMC-complete-rebuild on it, but adding some additional banking would go a long way to making it a top notch coaster again. Not at all lol. My first ride was a front seat ride and i had no idea what to expect with layout. It threw me all over the place. It is the only roller coaster that had drool flying out of my mouth hitting the break run it was so crazy awesome.
  19. I like those rides, just not the lines associated with them. I maybe ride Backlot once a season if that.
  20. No kidding there--Lightning Run is an insane airtime machine. If Storm Chaser lives up to past RMC rides . . . I can only imagine the thigh bruises that are in store for a day on these two!
  21. I would be sorely disappointed if anything with Voyage changed. As it is perfect to me the way it is.
  22. wait, you mean i wont have to travel 8 hours to ride a full on RMC? WOO HOO!
  23. I am hoping to make it to the park within the next month. Great pictures!
  24. I think this thing looks fun. https://youtu.be/dk9RSr43bxk
