Yeah, that's definitely a thing. Can you imagine the look on everyone's faces when they get to this park and discover the brand new coaster they've seen all over TikTok and Youtube means this park has TWO rides from the SAME manufacturer? I can see the disappointment from here.

It's not going to be the same ride. It will be a river ride of some sort and use the same route as Paddlewheel Excursions. That's what we mean when we say it's coming back.

Nope, don't worry about it. I bought a 2018 Kings Island Platinum Pass online and didn't activate it until August, and no trouble at all doing so.

Yup. If anybody has a real hankering to make a donation, the carousel at Faust Park accepts them. It's a better carousel too.

Six Flags is a for-profit company, not a museum. The money you pay them for tickets and food and Flash Pass and fluffy bunnies pay for the maintenance of rides and everything else. You don't need to donate money to them. They just need to use the money you already gave them to properly maintain the rides. Now, this is Six Flags, so we all know that's never gonna happen. But it's their responsibility, not yours.

Buy now. The best deals of the year are right after they make their new ride announcements.

They're hand carved. It's a PTC original to the park, though not always in that location. I believe it was originally where the Ferris wheel is now, though I might be mistaken on that part. It's a wonderful carousel that, if refurbished, would be a point of pride for the park. I hope any re-theme of Brittania would include a refurb of the carousel.

Awesome! Glad you got to see a lot of Krakow, or Krakova, or yeah. I never got the hang of Polish either. Did you get to go on the castle tour? The inside is incredible, especially the cathedral. I get not wanting to go to Auschwitz. That stuff stays with you forever, especially the feeling of the place. Everyone knows its history, but when you're there where it happened and you can feel the just...factory vibe to the place, it hits you hard. Good on Elissa for putting the side trip together.

This. A few years ago at WCB the Knott's maintenance team were saying Silver Bullet is their favourite ride in the park because B&M makes it so easy to maintain and provides manuals for everything. When people drive for hours for that once a year theme park day, they definitely want the new ride they've seen advertised everywhere to be running. Kings Island needs those people to go back home and tell everyone how awesome their day at Kings Island was so that other people want to make that drive too. That's who they're building this for.
