My three favourite log flumes were all new to me last year!
1. Timber Mountain Log Ride, Knott's Berry Farm
2. Splash Mountain, Disneyland
3. Log Chute, Nickelodeon Universe
You do know that stuff can fly out of your pocket even when you're not upside down, don't you?
Don't you?
Seriously, that's just basic physics.
Yes, the rule makes no sense, but not at all in any way for the reason you've said. It's that stuff doesn't fly out of a properly secured pocket, no matter your physical orientation.
It's soft serve. And it's pretty good for what it is. Holiday World's Udderly Blue is better though.

Have, not of.
And yes, the prevailing speculation is a Mack Extreme Spinner. I haven't seen anything yet that contradicts that speculation, so it's still valid at this point. I'm expecting to be guessing on this all the way until August, when the park will reveal their plans. Here's what we actually know right now:
1. Roller coaster (per Silver Dollar City PR and observation of the construction area)
2. Largest expansion in park history (per Silver Dollar City PR)
3. World's first (per Silver Dollar City PR)
4. An above the track design (per observation of the station)
Everything else at this point is speculation.
There haven't been any changes. They're building the same thing they started building last year. People keep guessing different things, but that's because none of us know anything about what it's going to be.
Attendance will likely be high that day, as it's opening weekend of Bluegrass & BBQ. However, ride queues should be relatively short as most people will be there for food and shows. The buffets will have longer lines than the coasters.
If you do come to Branson that weekend, check out Copper Run Distillery. It opened in 2015, so it may be new to you. They have a tasting room. http://www.copperrundistillery.com
Yeah, she's fine now. Nine year olds heal pretty quickly.
And the McDonald's in my town cannot ever get an order right. We've stopped bothering to send anything back. Sometimes we get extra sandwiches we didn't order or pay for, and I consider that their version of an apology. Seriously, it's the worst run place. There's a new Sonic being built now a block away, and once it's done, I doubt we'll ever go to that McDonald's again.
When was the last time you painted?
Last December when my daughter tripped and fell and broke her arm trying to cross the street to get on the school bus. Such a simple thing, didn't look like much, but she had a cast for 4 weeks nonetheless.
When was the last time you had BBQ?
Desserts!
Pro tip: the advanced online sale price is available day of. I went to the website on my phone while at the park and bought the ticket, then went straight over to redeem it, and I got the $20 price.
