  1. Yeah, I agree that the park isn't looking to expand. If they add a new area, that's more rides and more shops, which means more staff and more expense. I'm not sure a new area would really bring in more people than replacing an existing ride would, so they're smart to keep refreshing areas like they have been. The park is getting better all the time. It's not yet its 90s heyday, but it's getting closer to that.
  2. Reverse cobra roll, okay, that makes sense now. I don't follow this thread too much, with Atlanta being pretty far from me. Those pictures look really great though.
  3. Reading is hard. No RMC has had a maximum height restriction so far. I wouldn't expect this one to have one either.
  4. Okay, I can see that now. Too much twistiness to comprehend. Will have to get to Atlanta at some point for this, looks very fun.
  5. Keep in mind that SDC is closed Easter Sunday, April 1. The after 3 on Friday, all day Saturday is probably your best deal. In past years, the Branson ticket place on 65 offered 2 days for the price of 1, but it's closed now and became a family style restaurant. I think it's safe to say that discount is gone, as that place was the only one offering it to my knowledge. If you're going to stay 2 full days or longer, just get a season pass. They're $85 for an adult and offer 10% off restaurants and merchandise.
  6. Tayto Park. Because then I'd be in Ireland. Potayto or potahto?
  7. The trains look very similar to the other RMCs, all of which have a 48" minimum. I would expect SteVen to have the same.
  8. ^ Hamptons are always good. I've stayed at a number of them (though not specifically the one you mentioned) and I have never, not once, had a bad stay at any of them. They're a bit pricier than other hotels in the same class, but worth it.
  9. Love the name and the can art. Very cool. It's the weekend and I'm enjoying a Mother's Backyard Lime Gose. The Backyard is a vacant lot next to the brewery that they bought and put up canopies and games like horseshoes and beanbags. They have a stage too, and live music on Saturdays with good weather throughout the summer. Limey and gosey, and certified backyard worthy.
  10. Oh that's cool, didn't realize it was a Great Wolf now. Definitely exciting if this is 3 times that size.
  11. Awesome, they're really building this park out right. And this expansion singlehandedly doubles the number of coasters in the entire country!
  12. I hardly ever say no to more indoor waterparks. We went to the Waterpark of America at the hotel across the street when we were there a couple of years ago, and it was a lot of fun. That was the first time I went on a Flowrider. I'd be all for another even bigger one. MoA is THE reason to go to Minnesota, and the more they add to it, the better.
  13. Thanks, yeah I'm sure it will depend on park hours but that gives us an idea. We are only going to Six Flags on weekends; it's 3 hours each way for us, and not worth taking a day off work for.
  14. Oh man, you are going to have so much fun. My first Cedar Point trip was also at Coastermania. It's a great way to get to ride everything. I'm very excited for this year's event. We get 2 hours ERT on SteVen, Maverick, and Skyhawk, plus night ERT on Millennium Force. Gonna be awesome.
  15. I always stay at the Baymont. Same chain, virtually same location, clean, cheap, has everything you need.
  16. That is a beautiful piece of tail on Iron Rattler.
  17. We bought the basic dining plan in a sale last Christmas, and I'm looking into it now that the season's about to start. Haven't ever had this before, and Six Flags' website says to check the locations in park for times. Anybody here know what the lunch hours and snack hours are?
  18. Wow, that's a lot of really great stuff you got to do! Thanks for sharing.
  19. RMC Door or window?
  20. Del Toro totally deserves it. He's been so good for so long with very little recognition.
