We've gotten a slightly absurd number of souvenir cups over the years.

It was actually Rock n Brews down the street. Very fun place, liked it better than Hard Rock Cafe. Got to meet several members, including LaQueefa, Laura Calibretto & Ryan Little. Fun times. Portillo's is awesome too. Also hit that up during my time in SoCal, and every time I'm in Chicago. That video is great, and has got me wanting to get back to California. Hoping to make that happen next year.

Same. I had a great time. Only rides down for rain were Skyrush and Storm Runner.

You should anyway, it's a good ride and low capacity like mice usually are. Have fun, you'll like Valleyfair. Word of caution: They will not let you get beer for Brit. Both of you will have to go to the bar, present your IDs, and then answer quiz questions about the ID. It's weird, but it's a Minnesota thing. Happened to us everywhere up there.

Yep, they know what they're doing. Place looks tight. Cape May Brewing is really good. You probably don't remember, but I had a couple of those on the piers and was very impressed. That and Yards were the best ones on the trip. Love how many of these microbreweries are springing up everywhere.

Mud Hen looks good, got a nice variety to start out. Should do well. Brewpubs are almost guaranteed money, unless you just have no idea what you're doing. Looks like they've got a solid plan.

Great report! I pretty much agree with everything you said. Glad you had a good time, but it's pretty hard not to. Now, I'm sure it was just an oversight, but it looks like you might have left out the part of the report where you did the cave tour and bought cinnamon bread. Because you didn't go all the way to Branson and not do those things.

Nice report! It's been almost 20 years since I've been to Galveston, and that pier is looking fantastic. Eurofighters are perfect for that type of place.

KC public schools are out 5/29, and most other schools will be out before Memorial Day. There will be between 1 and 100,000 people in the park.

They assign seats, but if you can request Row 7, that's the best ride I've had so far. You get ripped over the first drop before you're even out of the station, and the car is kicked out to the side pretty forcefully on the way.

Thanks for posting that; it was really fun to watch. I haven't been to this park, but still trying to make it this summer, and it was great seeing a walkthrough and also the trip to the top of RF2's lift. Looks like a really fun park!

That's really great of them. Sorry you had to bail early on the trip, but I get it. Glad you enjoyed what you were able to do at least. Branson's quite a long way from you, so even doing it at all is a big improvement.
