I didn't expect him to go dark so quickly." Sounds like the park really took care of you guys over the two days. They do know how to put on an event. We always camp at places with showers, but wil have to remember shower wipes if we ever have to camp at a place that doesn't.

Very cool! There are so many little things at CP that are so cool. Glad you got to enjoy Windseeker and Derby and all the rest. The park may be known for its coasters, but there's so much more than that to experience, and you've captured it well.

^ I keep saying I hope someone in the Midwest builds a SkyRocket II. The only ones in the US are on the coasts, and I think they'd go over well here. I'd love to ride one of those.

Cool, have fun! Take it back you son of a b*tch! meh. It's OK. I like FoF. It served us well when it was pouring rain for the last three hours during our Haunt visit. It's no Mr. Freeze, but FoF is pretty fun. Mayyybe? The later the better. Even if it's not pitch dark, it's still a pretty great night ride, but try to get in line just before 10 so that you're in line when the fireworks go. After that's done, they'll clear out the line, though if the front row line is uber long, they may cut it off and have those queuing for the front go to other rows.

^ Yep, nailed it. I will say that the member entrance has not been handled well. We have a Gold membership, and they let us in once with that, but the next time they said you have to have Gold Plus or above. One time there was an employee "saying members this side, regular season pass that side." I said we have a membership, but then he quizzed us about how much we pay for it, then determined we have a regular season pass and told us to stand in the other line. Not to argue with him, but I said we have a membership, because we do, but he insisted what we had is actually a regular season pass and wouldn't hear otherwise. I don't care if they want to keep that entrance for a certain group of people. It's just that after 3 visits this year, I still don't actually know what group can use that entrance!

Not sure why you would have thought Batman would still have a backwards train. They were pretty clear about it. The chain only owns one, and it's needed at a different park as soon as the last one is done with it. Those are precise schedules for a reason.
