hopefully this will pull more people over to Blue Streak next year, it was amazing how baron that area of the park, even with seeing the huge numbers pass on the main midway! Looks good, can't wait to see this thing added to the skyline! -

Ok kids,I need some advice... I'm heading to Universal Orlando on April 25-26 (Monday, Tuesday) with a friend. Unfortunately she needs to go back to work on Wednesday, but I'm off the whole week, so I'm thinking of going to BGT for the first time by myself. Here are my questions: Is it possible to do the whole park in one day? How long do you think it would take, I'm not really into spinning rides... How long do you think it would take to hit all the big rides? Any small attractions that "don't miss?" Can you WALK to the park? I, thinking of staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the street, and can't seem to see a break in the fence on google maps. Any stand out food? Both in and outside the park?

It always amazes me how fast the line on Griffon would move. You have to remember that every time the gates open 8 people walk through. With a limited station space, the main line leading to the station feels like it's constantly moving quickly. It almost got annoying when you just wanted to sit for a moment, or lean on the railing! This, plus the new restraint system that is much easier to check, and CP's impeccable ride ops. The line will fly and this will be another people eater for the park! Now all we have to hope for is some killer air time on that last camel back! -
You know we all sit here and complain about Dorney park never getting anything, but I think it's because we put it in the wrong circle of amusement parks. I've never looked at Dorney park in line with the rest of the parks of Cedar Fair, it's more along the lines of a corporately owned local family Park, Like Lake Compounce, Kennywood, or even Adventureland LI. If you look at it in that light, it makes a whole lot more sense for the park to not receive as much as we all wish it would.
