To be honest, as a non regular to cedar point I feel like Fast lane is a must here. I hate using it at other parks, but there are just so many featured world class coasters, that the amount of re rides your going to want to get in, it's almost a necessity !! It just allows you to enjoy your day and not feel stressed and run to everything!

I agree, but NJ is a stupid state sometimes.... I do look forward to what we can assume will be an expansion of the park past Ka's tower in the future... It just seems to be the perfect spot to expand since it's already void of most trees and can be easily accessed from Bizaro and Ka....

Sorry for the double post!! Great day at the park, ride ops were working quite fast (shocker) and we hit every coaster once other than wicked cyclone and superman which we did twice each. Then headed to Lake Compounce. We did grab a bit at Eat which was about ten min away. Amazing food and staff. Highly recommended!!!

I agree!! We just left, did SFNE and then hit up the BoGo deal. Phobia is a great addition to the park. It looks great being slight angled in the park, and really adds a thrill level that the park was missing. Rode BD three times, Wildcat once, thunder and lightning twice (love this thing) and phobia twice. Some free soda and a chair lift ride and we are back on the road!

Might be helpful here to know that I just got back from a trip that we purchased through Costco which got us 3 nights at the Hyatt across the street with tickets for about $350 a person total! We then got another night at the Royal Pacific for the free front of the line passes!

This all sounds amazing, but I still want to know what all the conduit work on the cobra roll are for... could we be seeing LED strips along the track?! Train looks sick, so happy to see this reborn and not just rebuilt!

They were testing out the scanning last summer when I was there... They said it was going to be rolling out this year as a seat ate wait time in the app for fast passes, that way you knew how long YOUR wait was for the ride as well as the GP. I think it could be a great idea to make the price point for a fast pass even better!

Just spent some time watching the webcams, looks like MF is also running for the event, unless they are just testing it...

Bill, I had the chance to ride mean streak last summer, I thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a great conversation about what to do for dinner while riding....

I could see them doing what the did with Fury's lift hill. They said it would be spectacular, and unless we're looking at projections, that's really the only idea that comes to mind!

Seeing the Periscope yesterday, I think they are LED lights for the lighting package, not for the walkways...

I'm headed to the park for the first time Monday through Wednesday next week, can anyone give any advice on food locations? Other than the butter beer (Which is clearly happening) any other food items that need to absolutely be eaten? We are staying at the Royal Pacific, so we are getting front of the line passes!

Im going to go with the "feathers of a bird" rather than scales... I like it, the generic with class that Cedar Fair is known for. This isn't Island of Adventure people, its Cedar Point. If its not on the other end of the peninsula that its not really a themed attraction! Its a Huge B&M Dive Machine. Be happy!!!!

Plus lately six flags has been doing it more often, with a sign on batman at SFFT (I know it's the same ride style so it isn't that surprising here) but also seeing it on Iron a Rattler and Wicked Cyclone. Although in those two examples it's more of a logo. I'm all for it, it adds a little something of nostalgia to the older times in amusement history. I guess the only thing I don't like is that it's going to be in every "walking into the park" pic from now on... And it's not centered on the pathway, which is going to drive me nuts since everything else is... Still quite excited to experience this ride, but I'm afraid it might be a one and done ride since I hate spinning rides...

Ok, I take back my previous statement... It does look good now that it's up, but I'm still hoping for a really nice ground level masterpiece....
