Anyone going for opening weekend? I'm trying to go on Sunday afternoon on my way home from visiting a friend... What's the best seat on Wicked Cyclone? I have yet to get on that beast! Quite excited for all the !!!

Looks like a solid mid sized wooden coaster for a park that desperately needs one! Hey SFGAdv, pay attention!!!

Went to the park yesterday with five friends, we had an absolute blast! No pictures, but the rain kept the crowds away and nothing was more than a station wait except for Kingda Ka! Wrote everything in the park once and then re-Road El Toro and nitro and then headed out of the park to the nice car parked on the block to take some sunset pictures. And amazing way to spend a Saturday! If you have never gone to this park just down the block, I highly recommend it!

I'm quite excited... Maybe they will get it done over the next few weeks while the park is closed during the week!!

I'm. It sure that would happen in reality, a lot of GP makes a whole vacation based on being on the peninsula of CP, plus it's nothing compared to TTD to the GP... Even if it hurts for one year, the line up at CP is much more of a pull to there for many more families... I would love to see a gate coaster at KI, but I don't think we would see it completely CHANGE the front of the park like they did at CP, that dining room over the gates is used quite a lot for events, and they would have to find a way to incorporate something of that nature into the new design...

I've always found front left to be my favorite seat on almost every B&M...

There was a significant amount of food stands closed this past weekend... Best of the west was closed which made me leave the park and discover food trucks at the outlets, which was a total win!

So I had a great day by myself at the park... 3 rides on El Toro, 1 on bizzaro and batman, and 2 on Nitro. El Toro was hauling by the third ride and Ryan and his team were doing wonderful (as per usual). Bizzaro impressed me, the ride was running a solid run, just slightly touching the breaks mid course and the team was getting trains out faster then they were even finishing the last flat spin! Batman was a station wait (with all the back doors open, which I thought was odd and problematic for wondering eyes... Nitro rode very bumpy (train 2) but they were running all 3 trains which was great. I left for the day since I wanted to do some shopping at the outlets down the block. Bummed that Best of the West was closed, I thought i would go got the outlets and find food there. JACKPOT! Food trucks plan on being there every weekend!!!! Feast your eyes on a cheddar pulled pork grilled cheese... Mmmmmmm

Here for 45 min. 3 rides on El Toro (met the infamous Ryan) and a ride on Bizzaro (who was pushing trains out faster than they arrived. But... Umm.... They're kidding right? How much for water?

Once again, coaster bill seems to have the right idea... First solo SFGAdv trip here I come! If I see you I'll say hello!

I processed at KD last year. Cedar Fair has it down to a science. And it was open I think at 9am, plenty of time to get you in the park for early entry anyway!

Should I go today or not? Thoughts on crowds?

Not completely against a monorail at CP.... Sometimes those walks from front to back kill...
