Because it won't make you black out from the forces, therefore it is not worth considering. Alternately, B&M's tend to draw in the crowds quite a bit, and that's not okay. I personally feel that this may be (judging from stats/renders) one of the more forceful B&M's that we've seen in a while. I'm not stating in any way-shape-or-form that this will be anything like BTR. However, the Immelman, Dive Loop, and the Camel-back look like they'll pull a good amount of G's. Edit: They sure aren't wasting any time on that front gate. Looks like Mr. Dino might get the boot.... sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/615596_463372337034464_1555238323_o.jpg sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/622751_463370923701272_674844865_o.jpg -

Hurricane Sandy vs. Roller Coasters

Were any Boomerang's/SLC's destroyed? I wish the storm took out ALL those POS instead of all those wild mice. -

This is the one and only. The Next best thing when it comes to "Extreme" wood coasters is El Toro. -
Hurricane Sandy vs. Roller Coasters
JonnyRCT3 replied to UrbanLegend's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This may sound wrong, but I wish every Boomerang / SLC coaster on the east coaster falls to the ground. I do wish everyone caught in the storm will be kept safe, and will awake from the storm without a single boomerang -

Outlaw Run......ok I'm sold on the Midwest trip now -
I sat in the second row on Raptor. That turn after the pre drop was as forcefull as those wingovers. I did get the sensation of airtime, looks like the next time I ride raptor (May ) I'm riding in the back first. For Me: Skyrocket's Top Hat @ Kennywood, front seat. -That ejector air was amazing Corkscrew @ CP. Yes I know, but that airtime was very unexpected and was quite pleasant and painless. I don't quite remember where I sat, but it was the only time I've ever felt/enjoyed the good airtime corkscrew surprisingly offers. It's one of those hidden gems that I have to rediscover next season.

Types of theme park fan
JonnyRCT3 replied to Hexeffects's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd say the majority of the people her are #1. The first thing that comes to minds around here are coasters. #4 Could be your "so-so" guest who don't mind riding big/fast coasters and waiting 30min for a Scrambler. Some people just go with the flow, and just ride for the thrill. #5 "GP". Nuff said. "Giga-Coaster 1 goes 19721470 mph!" -

I'm assuming we will be seeing nothing but straight sections of track for awhile. But once the lift is complete, we can all lay our eyes on some sexy B&M curves. -
Ocean Kingdom in China
JonnyRCT3 replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think he was referring to the drop on Gatekeeper which is listed as 164' on the Cedar Point site. Judging from GK's lift to drop ratio, their seems to be at-least a 6-foot clearance. So unless Ocean Kingdoms's wingRider drops slightly below grade, GK will still hold the record. This coaster (Judging from above stats) should have around a 158' drop(again, that's with a 6' clearance). -

A few question about CF platinum passes. I'm still considering to buy it or not. 1. Does the platinum pass give you free entry to all other Cedar Fair water-parks? Or just Soak City? 2. Since I don't drive, would someone who was driving get Free Parking by using MY platinum pass? Also: how long are lines (on average) for early entry? Lets say mid-week in June. -
Strangest layouts

^For some odd reason, that looks really fun. especially the horseshoe turn, the dive right afterwards must pull some intense G's at the bottom.
