  1. Finally riding the Dragster. And only a 25min wait.
  2. Because it won't make you black out from the forces, therefore it is not worth considering. Alternately, B&M's tend to draw in the crowds quite a bit, and that's not okay. I personally feel that this may be (judging from stats/renders) one of the more forceful B&M's that we've seen in a while. I'm not stating in any way-shape-or-form that this will be anything like BTR. However, the Immelman, Dive Loop, and the Camel-back look like they'll pull a good amount of G's. Edit: They sure aren't wasting any time on that front gate. Looks like Mr. Dino might get the boot.... sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/615596_463372337034464_1555238323_o.jpg sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/622751_463370923701272_674844865_o.jpg
  3. Will transportation be provided between each park from SFFT to CP?
  4. Were any Boomerang's/SLC's destroyed? I wish the storm took out ALL those POS instead of all those wild mice.
  5. Where would the "meet up" point?
  6. This is the one and only. The Next best thing when it comes to "Extreme" wood coasters is El Toro.
  7. This may sound wrong, but I wish every Boomerang / SLC coaster on the east coaster falls to the ground. I do wish everyone caught in the storm will be kept safe, and will awake from the storm without a single boomerang
  8. Outlaw Run......ok I'm sold on the Midwest trip now
  9. I sat in the second row on Raptor. That turn after the pre drop was as forcefull as those wingovers. I did get the sensation of airtime, looks like the next time I ride raptor (May ) I'm riding in the back first. For Me: Skyrocket's Top Hat @ Kennywood, front seat. -That ejector air was amazing Corkscrew @ CP. Yes I know, but that airtime was very unexpected and was quite pleasant and painless. I don't quite remember where I sat, but it was the only time I've ever felt/enjoyed the good airtime corkscrew surprisingly offers. It's one of those hidden gems that I have to rediscover next season.
  10. Raptor @ Cedar Point. July 10, 2006
  11. I've never really cared for what drinks a park provides. However, seeing how the parks with coke have Free-style machines.........HECK YEAH! Bring on the Coke
  12. well, its still a gimmick I do think that construction will start until December/January. The actual coaster won't take much time to build (1/2 the ride is in one section)
  13. -Waiting in line behind someone with unbearable B.O. -That annoying girl who continuously screams while going up the 40' lift
  14. I'd say the majority of the people her are #1. The first thing that comes to minds around here are coasters. #4 Could be your "so-so" guest who don't mind riding big/fast coasters and waiting 30min for a Scrambler. Some people just go with the flow, and just ride for the thrill. #5 "GP". Nuff said. "Giga-Coaster 1 goes 19721470 mph!"
  15. I'm assuming we will be seeing nothing but straight sections of track for awhile. But once the lift is complete, we can all lay our eyes on some sexy B&M curves.
  16. I think he was referring to the drop on Gatekeeper which is listed as 164' on the Cedar Point site. Judging from GK's lift to drop ratio, their seems to be at-least a 6-foot clearance. So unless Ocean Kingdoms's wingRider drops slightly below grade, GK will still hold the record. This coaster (Judging from above stats) should have around a 158' drop(again, that's with a 6' clearance).
  17. Aren't you supposed to have a sense of humor if you want to be a member of TPR forums?
  18. Intimidator 305. Very little effort there.....it's more like statign the obvious. It's right up there with 10 Inversion roller coaster. They might as well call TTD the: 120mphStrataCoaster
  19. ^^I'm a big fan of sweets. this was my birthday cake i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k611/mrwillw/Blog/78b278de.jpg (It was gone in 2 days ) And yet, that looks like crap. And probably taste like it too....
  20. Mean Streak.......lengthy, plenty of drops, full of head-choppers, just an overall great ride. Mantis......forceful,great first drop, nice location and color scheme, great 2nd half.
  21. Aww. Show some love, Everyone likes a classic arrow mine train. (Well, this guy does )
  22. Jack Rabbit, Kennywood. 1920 (92)
  23. A few question about CF platinum passes. I'm still considering to buy it or not. 1. Does the platinum pass give you free entry to all other Cedar Fair water-parks? Or just Soak City? 2. Since I don't drive, would someone who was driving get Free Parking by using MY platinum pass? Also: how long are lines (on average) for early entry? Lets say mid-week in June.
  24. ^For some odd reason, that looks really fun. especially the horseshoe turn, the dive right afterwards must pull some intense G's at the bottom.
