  1. After dragster in 2003 ($25M), which was a disaster(financially). And then another big $21M dollar investment (Maverick), plus the state of the economy afterwards. It makes sense it took this long for their next big coaster.
  2. Glad to see them involved in their work. Hopefully Mr. O. will focus more on the other smaller parks when it comes to coasters. I really feel Kinzel mainly focused on CP.
  3. ^^I agree. SFMM won't be the best first impression. Maybe try Knott's.
  4. NEW blog post. www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/Happy-New-Year-1-3-13-13 Looking sharp!
  5. A waterpark expansion seems likely. Many CF waterparks are getting face-lifts as of late. Kings Island, Cedar Point, Worlds of Fun. Lighter trains for WT would be nice though. Ejector air anyone?
  6. Racer, Diamondback, Vortex, Beast. All great people eaters.
  7. ^I'd like to see bigger/higher capacity(two cars per train) El Loco-type coaster. Great replacement for Boomerang. Those have potential, we just need CF to give it the CP treatment. If only Coast Rider was an El Loco...... Now for the nitpicking enthusiast inside me, who has to complain about SOMETHING . Coast Rider.....WHY!? I like the new themed area, I just wish more thought was put into the wild mouse. I know KBF is tight on space, but come on. At-least go with a custom design(my main point), now the farm has two cloned coasters right across from each other. However, its a great fit, and is going to sell to the GP, so my opinion matters to zero.
  8. Ridden Steel 1. Millennium Force 2. Phantom's Revenge 3. Raptor 4. Magnum XL-200 5. SkyRocket Wood 1. Thunderbolt 2. Mean Streak 3. Racer 4. Big Dipper (Camden Park, soft spot) 5. Jack Rabbit Want To Ride Steel & Wood 1. Maverick 2. The Voyage 3. Diamondback 4. El Toro 5. High Five
  9. 2013! Finally get to try out those things called wing coasters. EDIT: This guy V
  10. Either Raptor or GateKeeper, depending on the lines. However, a Fast Lane ticket may prove me wrong.
  11. Something tells me the ride will be closed months before we will see any work.
  12. ^That's pretty much my opinion on Wing Coasters. I doubt that they're meant to have those intense forces, it seems to be the closest thing B&M has to a "family" coaster but is still marketable as a thrill ride. Made to to give the sensation of flight, with a mix of mild thrills, an overall "fun" coaster design with nothing to intense. Which is good news for B&M, they can finally sell outside the "big thrill ride" market.
  13. Few Questions for whoever knows the answers: 1. At what height does TTD go vertical (90*) 2. How long is the launch section of TTD?
  14. The Voyage or California Screamin', best of all worlds.
  15. Goliath @ SFLR. Rid the world of this snooze-fest. Now if this was made by intamin (some decent "air") this could be a real jewel.
  16. Arrows First V-loop, they all do look about the same as Corkscrew's.
  17. I've never had a trimmed raptor ride, I've always felt that it needed trimmed though, those wing overs were just O_O
  18. Seeing how outlaw run was $10Million, I could see why they would go with them. Most new companies sell for cheap, at first.......
  19. Went to Kennywood on a slower-than-usual Saturday during mid-July, and both water rides had longer lines then any other ride(Yes, Even Phantom with 1train). Both had lines through the queues and out onto the midways. I'm not "in the know", but I know Raging Rapids & Log Jammer are still quite popular. Funny though:Not to long ago, I was thinking of how Kennywood could build an Invert towards the back of the park. Overall idea, nothing fancy just a "quick" sketch of a possibility. A terrain hugging invert would be great. i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g399/ShippudenMan/KennywoodInvert_zpse98c6e75.png
  20. Knott's Berry Farm + Alton Towers = Heaven on Earth.
  21. As far as I can tell, footers are being used.
