  1. How so? This ride looks to be fun and smooth, with some great elements that seem to be great for this style of seating. Sure it wont be forceful, but the bottom of the first drop, the camel-back, and the dive loop seem to have a good bit for a wing coaster.
  2. It's in a parking lot, they obviously don't care about apperance.
  3. That's exactly what I got out of that photo. "Girl goes insane due to constant spinning(inversions)." Honestly, this "washer machine" gimmick is pathetic. I really hope this isn't their key selling point, because if so, "SW#" projects will cease to excite me anymore. It's a potentially unique gimmick attached to a pretty good looking coaster...don't see why the hate. The idea sounds nice, just not "that" exciting to me. From all the layout shots and current rumors, thIS SW project IS really are loosing its touch (to me). It still looks like a great ride, don't think I'm simply bashing this. This ride looks fun, it's just the whole "washing machine" gimmick that throws it off for me. I don't love it and don't completely hate it, its just really seems to be there simply for bragging rights, which is what this coaster seems to be built for. Making it loose its "umph"for me. The SW projects just keep getting less and less exciting (again, to me). I like the coaster, just not this unnecessary gimmick. It's just......really hard to explain.
  4. Great to hear. Never rode it, but this looks like one of the more enjoyable "hyper" models. It seems B&M makes better rides when they have more limitations. The same can be said for anything, but this shows it in coaster terms. What's with all the B&M's running backwards? I think that some parks (probably SF's batmans) asked if they could run backwards and then got the Ok. Now the other parks are jumping on the bandwagon.
  5. I think MM finally realized that the sun is NOT their friend, hence the white color of FT. Scream is just, ughh. It already in the worst possible location, and the color scheme makes it look even more out of place. And now with this faded paint........yep, it just screams MM. High Quality!

  7. Turning the train backwards, that's cool. Waits for fanboys to say this coaster is legendary now.
  8. Six Flags did nothing to promote the Slingshot? No wonder they almost wen't bankrupt.
  9. I think SF knows how high quality the parks are, and they obviously don't have what it takes to maintain it. But that's not going to stop them. -SF buys Sea World Parks & add SF management -Profits will still soar at first, due to Busch management -Once SF management becomes more enforces, THAT'S when they'll get it. the Busch parks are HIGH quality (for the most part). Unless SF magically is able to maintain the parks, I can see an attendance drop.
  10. She's a great coaster. That helix is a reminder that this thing is fun to the end. What do you expect, it's not an Intamin. So it is actually going to be a thing called "open".
  11. ^Well this is Cedar Fair. They know what us enthusiasts like, that lovely wooden twisty-ness
  12. It's probably safe to assume the 2nd half of the ride won't see any effort until the loop's finished, seeing how that path is open now.
  13. Well, they didn't give any real effort untill the new year. Seems the "most profitable" park in the chain is really "profitable"
  14. I agree. It's like a hammerhead turn on steroids.
  15. I'll agree with Full Throttle and GL. However, Tatsu is regarded as the king of flyers. (I find it decent)
  16. ^^ I agree 100%. Unless they can somehow pack some serious theming to go along with it (inside the actual contraption) ,I fail too see how this could be amusing after the second flip.
  17. I thought that the double-spine track was due to customer request? Intamin still uses the old box style.
  18. We know what their thinking. "Inversions , Inversions, take that hill out, add a loop"
  19. Let me rephrase, "The worst (business) decision we ever mad was putting that (Dragster) coaster in".
  20. LSM? No hydraulic? Hmm.... Seems the Turkish even know about the "Intamin Cable of Doom"
  21. Watch Magic Mountain turn this into another "inversion heavy" coaster that still lacks any hairtime.
  22. "Disaster Transport and Top Thrill Dragster were probably the two worst investments I've ever made" Dick Kinzel. Also, Dragster is my 2nd Favorite ride at the park.....

  24. Shoot the Rapids is worth every penny! Theming and all..
