  1. The price of an intamin coaster.......
  2. It will coast to fast, and then be trimmed to death like every other wild mouse.
  3. Apparently people in the U.S. are unaware of what "true" Hair-time feels like(outside El Toro). If these started popping up, B&M-megas will look like child's-play.
  4. Footers have been poured in the lot, and I assume around the entrance as-well. Usually, vertical construction speeds up (as of now) once all the footings and ground work is complete/near complete.
  5. Kennywood has a pretty nifty chairlift from the parking lot. The terrain they're is far from flat so it's pretty useful, they even run it in the rain--another plus. Take THAT CP operations!
  6. Corkscrew @ KBF Kumba @ BGTB Raptor @ CP Racer @ KI Beast @ KI Cyclone @ CI Goliath @ SFOG Eejanaika @ FQH Magnum XL-200 @ CP Millennium Force @ CP El Toro @ SFGAV Iron Wolf @ SFGam Goliath @ WH Expedition Ge'FORCE @ HP Xcelerator @ KBF Both GAMSM @SFOG, SFGA
  7. I'd take a trip to Hawaii over any amusement park. Hope you have fun! I'm currently only planning on going to Cedar Point for about 3-4 days with a few first-timer friends. Should be fun
  8. That was just a single standard steel V-loop placed in the middle of a wood coaster. Outlaw run has insane banked turns, a half-zero-g roll type maneuver, and two consecutive barrel rolls made of wood! Not to mention the steepest drop ever on a wood coaster, second fastest and the second longest drop on a wood coaster. It hugs the hilly terrain and has some sexy trains............what's not to like?
  9. after seeing leviathan, that would be a no.
  10. Maybe they wan't to "seem" busy. At-least the Flash Pass will still sell to the GP
  11. Hope they add some insulators to these, It can get quite cold at night. However the park did just theme a coaster to a barren wasteland, this should match it perfectly
  12. Another question. I'm trying to make a half-loop, and then while your upside down, go into a barrel roll (where instead of turning upside down you turn up and then back down). However whenever I select any barrel roll, it snaps right-side up and then back down, and quickly snaps back up again at the end. How do a make an "inverted" barrel roll? It's the first element after the drop. How do I make it "right". That roll may not look it, but it's far from smooth. *my first coaster--still using the demo*
  13. Rattler just recently received topper track, and now SF is doing a complete overhaul on the ride. "Spend money to improve a ride, few years later.....completely rebuild the ride and scrap all the materials that were just used to improve it" Six Flags Logic at it's finest!
  14. After all the over-hype of SW6, not expecting anything great. The inversion gimmick gets a "meh" response from me, like the idea, just "meh". Looks nothing more than another Euro-Fighter. Eh......Next......
  15. Outlaw Run, GateKeeper and Gold Striker!
  16. Pleasant- Thunderbolt @ Kennywood. -After hearing all the rave about Jack Rabbit and nothing much about TB, I wasn't expecting much. Next thing I knew I was back in line and this thing was my #1 wood coaster. Those turns are fun, pretty intense (well it was for me) drops, and this thing actually had me scared at a few parts. I love that it has a big drop right out of the station( and the fact that it's situated on a cliff adds to the height factor) and the largest drop is one of the last. Loved EVERY second of this coaster ! Smooth as any steel coaster. Maybe it's just me, but the airtime I felt while hitting the chain lift was KILLER!! Never felt such intense air-time, it's on par with that of Skyrocket's "top hat"(front seat). A very pleasant surprise. Unpleasant- Jack Rabbit @ Kennywood. -After hearing all the hype about the "double-down" I was expecting great things from this coaster. The ride was the HUGE letdown. The "double-down" had some good air, but NOTHING to rave about. I got better air on Phantom, and the locals don't rave about that . The ride has a VERY mediocre/forgettable layout. How does this coaster have a line? Overall, I'd never spend 15mins waiting for this ride EVER again. Really nothing special. In short: the best part of the ride is rather forgettable. *I rode JR before TB* -I think people confuse JR with TB
  17. If re-tracking and new trains don't help.....seems to be structural issues there.
  18. Magic Mountain demolishing Tatsu for Kong. What's worse than eating a pound of duct tape?
  19. Walmart's Try-Hard (and fail) commercials. What's worse than running out of toilet paper while on the toilet?
  20. ......0.............Not enough YOLO! Six Flags needs to keep up there theming. Seems really crammed down there by those walls, good thing the Halloween Events over. Is the barricaded section part of the "new" area?
  21. Using the logic of this thread, I have a question for the OP. How did parks maintain success before 1989, the year of the first Hyper-coaster? A Twist!
  22. As long as there is profit and management still maintains an interest into the park, it's going to stay open. Hypercoasters are nothing more than a great painting is to a gallery.
