  1. This is why So Cal deserved Full Throttle and nothing better. "Nitro can't hold a candle to Son of Beast, it has no loops." "Son of Beast is 100X better!" That reported had such narrow-minded views. While looking at the renders for the ride, I've noticed a few things. 1. Since the height of the "loop" is 160' above ground, how big is the "loop" itself without counting the clerance below? Would this still be the largest loop without counting the clerance beneath it. SFMM is smart to make their coasters over drop off's to add the extra height. The same for The Rattler when it opened. 2. Is the height of the "loop"160'? Or the "Top Hat"() ?
  2. What were you expecting?(out of curiosity) It's just a swing ride. Except much taller.
  3. Just bought RCT2 Triple Thrill Pack, anyone know how to get more money? (no loans) Also, how do you play the parks once you've downloaded them?
  4. Is it just me, or do the ticket prices go up the later the season? I remember back in june they had mid-week saver tickets for $36.99. It was around 45-50 at gate.
  5. ^I'd say the "topple tower" way would be more efficent. If your going to scrap it, just blow it over and chop it up. They did the latter to DT so i'ts no surpirse that they'd choose a similar method.
  6. An even better view of the Demolition.
  7. Finally, someone with common sense. Until Magic Mountain can invests a a shiny penny in something besides coasters, they probably won't ever see a golden ticket.
  8. ^Is the game on pause or does it literally just "stop"?
  9. This ride can go one of two ways: 1. Unbearably painful, if sitting in wrong seat or not standing correctly. 2. Relatively smooth, and an overall very enjoyable ride. Just make sure you've got some "room" before the restraints lock. And avoid any seat past half-train.
  10. Found some great videos of CP's forgotten jewel, MANTIS. It's really hard to find footage like this. These videos are not mine, but I'm glad to share. T.V. Commercial Animated Promo. Construction footage. Top off.
  11. This park is in need for a decent coaster that doesn't turn you to mush. My predictions: 1. "New" major attraction 2. kidzville --> Planet Snoopy
  12. *sorry for DP* Thanks to JoeyT from RCTL for giving me the advice to custom support Dragster. I think it turned out well, what do you all think? Feedback really helps me improve, thanks for the advice JoeyT I really think this turned out nice. A rainy shot of Dragster. Bonus shot. Can't wait untill May!
  13. Love those birds eye views. What was going on in the parking lot?
  14. Seems were still the best park. What else is new? These awards are getting more pathetic each year. Clearly there are some shenanigans going on. Speaking of shenanigans.... The CF trend of Giga Coasters. I beleive CF(Kinzel) refused to build a Giga taller/Faster than MF, just for Cp bragging rights. Like how I305 was originally 94, and then trimmed(for good reason) and then re-profiled. Now it's advertised as "excess of 90 mph". Just say 94. The same for Leviathan, just 1 foor taller than I305. If any other park (other than CF) were to build a Giga, it wouldn't just barely reach 300'. CP/CF needs to get over MF, quit milking the dang cow already. Sorry, needed to let that out.
  15. Is it possible to make a park larger than 254x254 in custom scenario. If so, how? It's one of the two: 1. Is the train used as a transport ride, the only way to enter and exit an area? If so, don't use it as the only way to enter and exit an area. Peeps will only see it as a "Ride". They don't recognize that it's the only way to enter and exit an area. Try creating a path to link the areas. 2. You want your peeps to get back on the ride after they've got off? If so, what is the point of having a second station if that's what your trying to acomplish? Just make 1 station. If something else, please state what.
  16. Thanks for the feedback. I tired that, and it looked terrible. The "corkscrew" track looks nothing like the real thing, the track and the trains/cars. The best way to do was for me to use a wood coaster and paint the rails black.
  17. Mini Update! I know it's been awhile, been busy with school. But I've made some more progress along the Dragster Midway while finishing up Camp Snoopy. Anyways, enough of that. On to the pictures. Random Camp Snoopy building. Loli Swings and Jr. Gemini in backround. Charlie Browns Cookout! (Camp Snoopy WIP) Another Rainy night at Cedar Point. Midway Carousel is a WIP. ^That progress I spoke of. Gemini, Dragster and Maggie
  18. That's a fair assessment in relation to the article, but taking everything else into consideration, SFMM lacks flats, whereas CP has some very nice ones. Also, CP is more vacation-like to me. It feels more like a park you spend a few days at than SFMM. Just my opinion though... Thats how I always look at this situation. People who are die hard fans of both places "swear on their lives" that their park is better. Honestly, the only way MM even compares to Cp is simply their coasters. CP has them beat in every other category. How do people see these parks as similar/comparable beyond coasters? This remains a mystery to me..
  19. I understand this, but that "christmas light" graphic seems to work exactly like a LSM. Explain?
  20. So what happens once the internship is over?
  21. Giant Frisbees! maXair is Cp's 2nd best flat behind the airtime machine SkyHawk . Black Widow is even better (not a huss) because it spins you right next to a valley. I was looking about 300' down when 1/2 upside down .
  22. Random Question of the dat: Does I305 really go 94 m.p.h. ?
  23. Glad to see someone else thinks the same. That's not the best look for a "Water"park. Electric City! (with waterslides)
