Last night, I saw Ice Age II: The Meltdown; The sequel to the 2002 CGI film about a trio of prehistoric animals come back again for another adventure. This time, the movie was somewhat political if you got the message. This one is about the horror of... GLOBAL WARMING!!1 Anyways, since all of the animals lived in a bowl-shaped valley and the dam that held in the water was about to break. So, the animals become convinced to get out of the valley and go to this Noah's Ark type thing at the other end of the valley. Each of the three characters have stories, Manny tries to find love to procreate his doomed species, Sid... is uh, just Sid, and Diego (like any feline) is afraid of water. Of course, the ending is a little generic for a movie of its type. But, the movie is a great family movie. Its almost what I would expect from Pixar movies; 8.5/10.

The Official Nintendo Wii Discussion Thread
Homer replied to MiamiBoii4392's topic in Random, Random, Random
^Nintendo Go sounds like a name I would expect for a portable console. I think the codename is a good enough name. I mean, after all, its revolutionary! Despite the fact that it is slightly less powerful than the other two consoles though. -

Random Photo TR: Cooking with Yankee

Can't wait for college, Ramen noodles are badass. That and ordering pizzas or having it all the time. Looks like you had a delish meal there, Craig! -
I have Pinnacle Studio 10 and you need a somewhat powerful PC to run it smoothly as it may crash if you have a slow computer. I found the program easy to install and use though. EDIT: And stay away from Windows Movie Maker. That program is so buggy, it has more holes than that swiss cheese that managed to steal America's cheese festival spotlight.

Trust me, you're best off getting a new PS2 than fixing it. If you want to get it fixed, it will probably cost more than the system itself new. Or, if you are patient, wait until PS3 comes out. *OR* get a Nintendo console, because at least Nintendo puts craftsmanship in their products [/fanboyism].

150 emails and counting... National holiday proposed. One of the better SBEmails, IMO, this email involves Strong Bad "universe-hopping" through various places. You'll probably get a kick out of this if you have been a longtime follower, but if you haven't seen a SBEmail, appreciate it. That and its a good way to cheer up a Monday. I still remember eagerly awaiting email 100, and that was two years ago!

I own an Aiptek camera, its good for a n00b like me. It can take some decent stills, but I really wish it had an optical zoom lens. Video is a bit crap and the camera itself is poorly made. Oh well, you get what you pay for, but I think its a good budget camera and good for first timers.

I rarely listen due to most of the songs being overplayed crap; 102.5 for Classic rock. 105.9 for Alternative. 93.3 for Pop (only listen to it when The MJ Morning Show is on)

Most Improved Theme Park?...
Homer replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd have to agree with Holiday World, but two more nominations. Geauga Lake: Certainly not the best thing to happen to a small park, Six Flags took over it in the 1990's and added a whole bunch of rides and improvements, flagged it, then bought SWOh. and made it into a mega park. That happened in a span of five years. An influx of new coasters and "themed" areas. Then when Cedar Fair bought the place, eh, its been a bit slow. Wild Adventures: Same as Geauga Lake. A small roadside petting zoo became a credit whore's/Vekoma lover's paradise. This, too, happened in a short time span. The park has 9 coasters (although a majority being family coasters) and its only been open for 10 years. Hey, now whats that supposed to mean Ted? -
The Simpsons movie will make the series jump the shark for like, the 10th time. It depends on the story and whether or not it will reveal any other Simpsons mysteries (like where the hell is Springfield!?).

Green Lantern is a black dude?
Homer replied to Damien666's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, heres the true story of the Green Latern. Sometime in the 1990's, Michael Jackson went from guy who did pop songs to the crazy white guy who molests children. Where did Michael Jackson get the white skin from? None other than the old Green Latern, he realised if he wanted to get chicks, he would have to be black. So, he became black and his secondary catchphrase is "Once you go black, you'll never go back!" Since then, Green Latern has become the most awesomest black superhero ever. Michael Jackson, in the meantime, became a child molester. -
CEDAR FAIR ANNOUNCES "Maverick" for 2007
Homer replied to Robbie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No, its going to be Bench The Ride or "coster kid; teh xpernece". -
That and do something about the banner ads, some of them look pixelated. Also, I just noticed that ALL of the park's homepages have been redesigned. And a much needed one too!

Was the drawing bigger than the real thing? (I'm sorry, that quote screamed for a tiny castle joke). Sounds like an interesting article. Anybody care to scan? -
So, today was the day Kingdom Hearts II was released in America, a very hyped-up sequel to the Game Boy Advance game "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories". If you've been living in a cave for the past three years, the Kingdom Hearts series is basically the uncanny fusion of Final Fantasy and Disney characters in a huge Action RPG game. So what if this game has cheesy Disney characters, its quite good. So, anyways, Kingdom Hearts II. I won't divulge any of the storyline, but its another solid game put out by Square-Enix and BVG (which I guess is a Disney company). The graphics churned out on this game is what you expect from Square, pushing the limits of the PS2's graphic capabilities. The music is beautifully orchestrated. Although, KHII isn't perfect, the camera can be a little bit of a pain and so can the battle system, although a step up from the first. The storyline? Pretty solid and links the previous games perfectly. So, if you ever get an opportunity to play, check it out. Even if you aren't a fan of Disney characters, you will probably like this game. Its released in America right now, but I'm not sure about Europe.

Misadventures with Wally: Super Colon Cleanse
Homer replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
Wally, you moaned about TPR's humor going away... I think you just brought it back! F***ing hilarious! As Beavis and Butthead would say... "Diarrhea! Cha cha cha! Diarrhea! Cha cha cha! Diarrhea! Cha cha cha!" -

In Florida, you take this stupid yet controversial test called the FCATs. Basically, I think its retarded, for one, they repeat the instructions a LOT. Look teacher... we know how to bubble in a darn answer or answer a long question or memorising that story about this boy named Paul and the rain coming near. Then, everybody is done with the test in a 1/2 hour, and we sit there for like 3 hours until the teacher can let us out. The controversy around the FCATs is this, basically forcing all 3rd graders know how to read and now its in some kind of debate in Tallahassle. Still, the FCATs (or FCRAPs) suck...
