  1. ^ I think it is patent infringement as from what I saw on their site, it looks like Gold Horse knocked off 10-20 rides not 83!
  2. Just wondering, but have theses Chinese Manufacturers been here before or is this their first time in the American IAAPA? This could give us insight if IAAPA was planning this.
  3. They knocked off many, off the top of my head they copied: Zamperlas Star Flyer Zamperlas Balloon Race Zamperlas Discovery Zamperlas Telecombat And many more (there is so many it's hard to list them all) Link to Zamperlas site: http://www.zamperla.com/en/ Link to Golden Horeses site: http://goldenhorserides.com/en/index.html
  4. Good, those Chinese Companies deserve it for copying!
  5. ^ You also have to remember most GP (especially teens) go nuts for gimmicks and inversions for some odd reason enthusiasts can't explain. I agree that a Boomerang is a terrible addition to this park and that it deserves much better, but if they can refurbish it a lot (look at the SFOT thread, one guy that has tie ins with the higher ups said that Flashback is getting new breaks, control systems, and possibly trains [manufacturer unknown]) so it could not be as bad as we think.
  6. Because America is sue happy and parks are requesting less intense rides from them to appease the weak American public (this is also why we don't see too many Intamins being built in America along with their reliability issues).
  7. Actually, I thought it was pretty smooth for a Arrow coaster (WAY smother then that piece of Vekoma trash called French Revolution). Also, want time did you ride it, I found it smoother in the morning then at night.
  8. I see Arrow Mega Loopers (Vortex Kings Island, Anaconda Kings Dominion, Viper SFMM) and Arrow suspended coasters that haven't been refurbished by Vekoma (All of them but Vampire at Chessington WOA) leaving soon.
  9. ^ Last time I was there, Eagles Fortress looked beat up but you never know because they could be pulling a Walibi like strategy on us (let the ride sit a few years till people forget it, then refurbish the ride and call it new).
  10. Didn't find a thread for this so I thought I would make one. Anyway, what is your browser of choice? Personally I like to use Chrome on my PC and Safari on my iPad. I absolutely hate Internet Explorer.
  11. Premier: We all know you are replacing the trains on Goliath at SFNE and that it was held back for some reason. Was this delay on yours or SFNEs part and if it was on yours, what design changes did you do to make the train be more comfortable and reliable.
  12. Gerstluaer: What are the chances that Turbine at Walibi Belgium will replace the old flywheel launch system a LSM system.
  13. Gerstluaer: Are SW7s trains going to have lap bars found on Iron Shark or OTSRs?
  14. ^ I would trust him as he has been right about a lot of information regarding SFOT. Besides, I think the trains will be sent to another park within the Six Flags chain with a Arrow Looper trains to be part donors.
  15. Mack: will your new suspeded power coaster going into Europa Park in 2014 feature spinning seats featured on your website?
  16. Mack: Did Intamin designs inspire you when you invented your Mega coaster?
  17. ^ Glad to hear those trains may NOT be sent to SFStL (they could still be as they will make prefect part donors for Ninja ) and that they are upgrading the system (hopefully we get some magnetic breaks on this!)
  18. I would say Outlaw Run and Iron Rattler, although Gatekeeper and Gold Striker are close seconds.
  19. GG: Why have the Timberliners only been featured on your coasters and not the ones Martin & Vleminckx helped you guys build?
  20. ^ I don't really know as this one will most likely have no trims (more like Skyscraper and Hair Riaser in terms of forces) and Gatekeeper is definitely going to have those (force less) with it being in the sue happy country called America.
  21. GG: As we know from your interview with Holiday World in the winter of 2011, you said the new trains for The Voyage would be different from other Timberliners found on your other coasters (Twister at Gröna Lund and Wooden Warrior at Quassy) since we know this, can you explain the differences between these new Timberliners and old Timberliners that the trains will have to be able to withstand the forces of The Voyage.
  22. I like Teststreckes (Laser from Dorney Park now on the German Fair ciricut) trains that were made by Zierer. I also like the lap bar only trains on the Boomerang at Wiener Prater in Austria (those lap bars look painful though).
