The 1st time I went El Toro. El Toro was my 1st roller coaster and basically during the lift hill I was freaking about how high it was and etc. Im pretty sure when I go on SkyScreamer later this summer it will scare me pretty good!

Great Trip Report especially for your first one! I enjoyed reading your report! I agree with what you said on the Dark Knight, I thought it was pretty fast for a Wild Mouse coaster.

Happiness is living within 3 hours of Knoebels, Hershey Park, Dorney, Camelbeach, SFGAdv, and Morey's Piers. Especially when you have a family member that works for one of those parks and can give you free tickets!

That had to be one of the weirdest comparisons that I've ever heard. Bert the Conqueror wasn't that bad of a show I enjoyed watching it but that can just be my opinion.

Same here, I thought El Toro was going to win for sure not only for the speed but drop. The Voyage is right up there too though!

Well it was Action Park at one time and we all know how that ended up... I went to Mountain Creek once and thought I was going to flip over on one of the tube slides there.

I never got to ride it but it looks like it was a lot of fun and intense. Nice to see that the ride is going to be used again instead of sitting in a junkyard.

Did anyone else know about the 7-Eleven deal yesterday before it was posted on GAdv's Facebook page ? Apparently they were allowing you to enter the park after 7:11 PM yesterday for $7.11 if you had a receipt from 7-Eleven. You were also able to get a wristband to stay in the park until 11PM and ride certain coasters. Sounded like an amazing deal but I wish they had mentioned it a day earlier instead of the afternoon of. If I hadn't seen the post around 7 PM I would have tried going down.

Heading to Knoebels in August and then going to Hershey Park the next day! Finally going back to both of those places it has been two years since I went to either of them.

Since the show is more geared to the GP who aren't sure about elements of a roller coaster and what G-Force is I think it was great. Actually today one of my campers started talking about the show and how she wants to go to Busch Gardens to ride Apollo and etc. For myself I thought the show was pretty good and I will continue to watch it until the end of the series. I thought all of the on ride footage was great especially with all of the different angles it was shot.

I have heard that the latest timetable would be to start construction late 2012 and for it to open by 2014 the earliest. Though that timetable is not set yet and the trigger to start the project hasn't been pushed.

^Did you get to the park when they opened today? My friends and I are trying to plan our next trip and we are thinking of going right when they open on a Sunday before the crowds come.

Tidal Wave at Trimper's Rides on the Ocean City, MD Boardwalk. Rode it twice within an hour...Didn't feel so well after the 2nd ride.

Can't wait to watch it tonight! I have been waiting for a new updated coaster show to come on Travel Channel as well!
