  1. Definitely: Six Flags Great Adventure Hershey Knoebels Dorney Six Flags Great Escape Possibly: Busch Gardens Williamsburg WDW Coney Island
  2. I have only been to a Six Flags but from what I see on here and heard from my friends who have gone to CP and DP I would have to say Cedar Fair. Cedar Fair appeals more to families with a better atmosphere and less advertisements placed all over the park and rides.
  3. How many DVDs or Blu-Rays do you purchase each year? About 10 DVDs each year How many digital downloads do you purchase each year? I have only done it twice How do you purchase digital downloads? Itunes Do you download directly from iTunes to your device, or iTunes to your computer, and then transfer to your device? I download directly to my computer Is a 1.5gb - 2 gb file "too big" for you to download to your device? I try not to go past 1.5 gbs but if it is something really good, I wouldn't mind it being 2 gbs!
  4. That is insane!!! You must have a stomach of steel to do that. I would probably be sick 45 seconds in.
  5. Made a random stop at Knoebels during August to ride Phoenix
  6. I have no idea why Lou would put Urbom on Waivers when he has a lot of potential! It was a great steal for the Caps though to pick him up! I definitely see the Capitals' defense improving a lot starting this year and continuing for the next few seasons. You still have Kundratek and Orlov down at Hershey who will be back playing in the NHL soon. How was Oleksy doing during the Preseason? He was my favorite defender while on the Bears last season. It's funny how I am a diehard Devils' Fan and then my favorite AHL team is the Hershey Bears!
  7. 8/1o That is literally one of the worst things in bowling
  8. I went to Myrtle Beach last month and made it a point to drive by and check it out. It was quite depressing driving right by Led Zepplin and just seeing an empty track with no trains going through it. I found it interesting how there were still signs up for Freestyle Music Park at the intersection though. Also my dad's cousin lives down there and went to the park when it first opened as Hard Rock and brought a mug, that he decided to give me. I find it funny because on the back of the mug it says "The Next Revolution", which I guess really means 'The Next Revolution of abandoned Theme Parks'...
  9. My mom has gotten pizza from Cesari's and said that it was similar to what we usually have at home and that it wasn't worth the 20 minute wait. Usually I go to the International food court to get a meal. I switch between Kielbasa, Alligator bites, potato cakes, or a quesadilla. I have never had the problem at the food court except for deciding what I want to eat because of all the options.
  10. Well I guess everything that has happened to Seaside this past year is all karma for the episodes of Jersey Shore... This fire wouldn't of been as bad as it is right now, if the first truck on scene started to put water on the fire instead of trying to get into the Khor's building.
  11. My friends thought I was crazy at first because I would talk about if I went somewhere on vacation that an amusement park had to be nearby. Now they are starting to get used to it and often ask me about rides, and when it is a good time to go to the parks and in what order to ride the rides. My one best friend is starting to love coasters and doesn't mind listening to me go off about all different type of rides. The morning of SFGAdv's Zumanjaro announcement we had XC practice and she actually asked me about any new rides coming to Dorney and SFGAdv.
  12. I was walking past Flying Turns today at Knoebels and I overhear two adults talking to each other about the ride. One of them goes: "They must not test the ride when the park is open so everyone doesn't see the water dummies come back with missing limbs."
  13. Sad to hear that Rolling Thunder is leaving but not everything can stay around forever. It was the first coaster that I got to ride at GAdv before I got the courage to go on El Toro. My friend has been dying to go to to Six Flags for the past 2 years, and now with Rolling Thunder leaving I've finally told her we are going. I hope the crowds aren't too bad on the 8th because I want to make sure we can hit all of the coasters and do some re-rides.
  14. Saw Bon Jovi at Metlife Stadium on July 25th. It was a great show about 2 3/4 hours with 2 encores!! Phil X did a great job covering for Richie Sambora. Jon was full of energy dancing, and jumping the only thing missing was Richie.
  15. I still can't believe that Lou was able to get Schneider for only the 9th overall pick, while other teams were trying to bribe the Canucks with players and picks! It is great to know that once Brodeur is done we will still have a strong goaltender in the crease. I can already tell that this upcoming Devils season is going to be a lot of fun and full of wins.
  16. According to Knoebel's Facebook on Thursday the 27th, Phoenix had reopened. They replied to someone around 2PM saying a custom made part was being installed and then at 7PM they replied to someone else that Phoenix was open. So I am guessing maybe you spoke to the worker during the morning hours then?
  17. I have only been on one which is ARM/Larson's AtmosFear at Morey's Piers. I loved how the ride was on a the boardwalk so you were already higher up from the ground before the ride started. My favorite part though was not being able to tell when you were at the top because of the overhead panels. Hopefully I will be able to go and try Knoebels' new drop tower this summer!
  18. Right now there is a tie for my #1 band between the Zac Brown Band and Yellowcard. I can go from listening to Yellowcard for an hour straight and then ZBB and then back to YC. My music taste changes multiple times in a day My other favorite bands are: Bon Jovi New Found Glory Maroon 5 Fall Out Boy Green Day
  19. My friend went to the park yesterday and said that the Log Flume wasn't running but it was filled with water. Is the log flume going to be closed for a while still or no? I thought it would of been open considering how hot it was yesterday or maybe I missed information that it won't be open for a while. She also mentioned that the wait for SORA was 3 hours long in the afternoon (they skipped it) and their shortest wait was 5 minutes for Bizzaro.
  20. I am excited for the Stadium series only because the Devils will finally be in a game! Not surprised that the NHL has the Rangers in 2 games though. I feel that it takes away from the Winter Classic a little because that was the big outdoor game each season. Found this on Yahoo Sports:
  21. Expedition Everest
  22. Devils have been playing terrible lately with Marty out. Hedberg finally got pulled tonight and Kinkaid made his NHL debut. I think the pressure got to Moose and his confidence level went down. Hopefully the Devils learn how to shoot before their next game. In other news Steven Oleksy was recalled to the Capitals from Hershey! He was one of my favorite Hershey Bears players and I am happy to see him in the NHL. He is a great D-man and will be a great addition to the Capitals.
  23. The past two Saturdays the Devils have started Hedberg, who plays amazing the first period of the game and then in the second starts to make sloppy mistakes. The defense also hasn't been up to par lately and Volchenkov shouldn't of left Ovechkin open yesterday. I have a feeling Hedberg won't be starting for the next few games after losing his past 2 starts. I feel bad for Columbus since their top 3 players, Johnson, Anisimov, and Dubinsky are injured. I have a feeling they will get destroyed tonight against the Blackhawks. However if they somehow pull off a win against Chicago talk about a plot twist!
  24. The Devils are off to a great start! The only problem is that we can't seem to play our best in the 1st period and it definitely shows right now in this game against the Flyers. I don't think Matt Cooke intentionally tried injuring Karlsson and it was more a freak thing. On a random note, I met David Clarkson last night after waiting 1 1/2 hours in the cold. The autograph session was supposed to go to 8:30 but he stayed almost an extra hour because he heard we were waiting outside and cancelled his plans he had for the rest of the night. It was really nice of him to stay later to meet his fans.
