  1. Um. So how can you call it dog food? I'd sure like to know what's so special about the food in your cooler. Must be fancy.
  2. I'm certainly generalizing the types of people who intentionally turn shitholes into shitholes.
  3. I see the irony in the diminishing returns... At some point it becomes not worth it, but that's different for everyone.
  4. Dang. I generally agree with you to an extent about park food, but have you had a chance to try any of the new offerings? Agreed a large portion of the decision was probably made with cost as a factor. I'm not really a fan of wild mouse coasters. I don't think most of us are. I would say I generally think they look terrible, but until I see how it fits in the area in person I might as well reserve my judgement.
  5. At least all of these people have the chance to laugh at fast pass users when they wait in 2 hour CP haunt lines. Everything? Undoubtedly, no. Some circumstances? Yeah. There they are! There are the real feels! We're all the same! We all just fit into this little box packaged up for your evening news.
  6. It's the center of controversy worldwide. "That's not fair" is an epidemic. Why should that person get an A, because they put in more work? Shouldn't we all get A's? I'm a victim of my own circumstances and chose not to take full advantage of I opportunities. Why should the person who worked hard get extra privileges? Why should my wife and I be able to skip past people, just because she has a high stress job, works from 9PM to 12 AM when our kid goes to bed? Why? Just because she went to college and sacrificed an immediate gratification lifestyle? Just because we didn't buy nice things, and instead paid off ten years of college immediately, while other people chose the route of high car payments? Why should I be able to skip the lines, just because I worked full time in a factory while paying my way through school? Why should our daughter be able to reap the benefits of me working night shifts for months at a time in order to give my family a better life? It's bullshit and not fair. Other people need nicer houses. Better cars. Better clothes. Fast passes, no matter what life they chose. I should actually give my pass to other people who didn't try as hard in life. I'm already happily going to pay a mortgage penalty fee soon, when we buy a new house. The extra $40 a month will go to people who've been able to enjoy living in the moment and spending their money paycheck to paycheck, instead of investing in life improvements. It's our fault for having no outstanding debt and paying what we owe. We shouldn't be able to have nicer things, just because we maintain an excellent credit score through our own disciplined lifestyle. We should all enjoy the same benefits no matter how hard we try. The chain smoking day drinking gas station clerk should actually get my fast pass. I need to buy his daughter's nice clothes, too. I'll keep working long hours. My wife doesn't need sleep. I'll gladly sign my new car over to whoever needs it. I paid for it in full, because I'm rich, despite "upper middle class" seeming less and less like that every year. The roach infested apartments from my very early childhood gave me privileges. I don't deserve nice things. As long as everyone gets reap the same rewards I do, we'll all be happy. It will motivate me to work harder, longer, and strive for the wealth of other people. None of this shit is localized like people think it is.
  7. And why wouldn't they want such an unreliable ride?
  8. It's part of the entire experience. Otherwise, it's just another (really good) park. OK, so GTFO.
  9. I probably have more comments from November if you'd like to reply to those, too.
  10. What stigma??? The older people don't care about the stigma, they just don't want to do that kind of work when other jobs more appealing to them are available. When you get to the age of a retiree, it's never usually about the money. They will go work at a hardware store for $5.00 an hour to keep busy, as opposed to an $11.00 an hour job working at an amusement park. Also, a wage increase based just based on age and nothing else, only to fight a stigma? What is this, 2023? Fuck it. Let's regulate it and put it into law. Anything to help me keep getting my 2% raises during 15% inflation. The minimum wage jobs are probably reserved for people who work on tips, like waiters/waitresses. Although now, that includes coffee shops, people at commercial smoothie shops, or basically anyone who can swipe your card with a guilt "tip" option. "Would you like to top 25% or 150% for the black coffee I just poured you?" That or, "Would you like to round up your total to the 'Kids and Animals recovering from brain cancer, hemorrhoid's, and mental illness' fund?" This 4:00 AM pre-work coffee better start kicking in, or my third 12 hour shift in a row this weekend is going to suck, leading to more rants...
  11. We had no room for snacks. Our fridge was full of beer and water. 50/50.
  12. That's cool you got that up close and personal with Freeze. I'd like to make it down there to ride it, since Mr. Freeze in STL was one of my favorite coasters before the transition.
  13. The FL+ wait for Steel Vengeance for us was about 25-30 minutes. Ask the ride attendants out front about the glucose monitor. The lockers are not as complicated of a process as people make it out to be. We had zero issues. Fast Lane is unchanged. You're already going to be spending a lot of money going to the park. You may as well spend more and spring for it. It makes our Breakers days seem so much more relaxing when we know we don't have to constantly wait in line or try to jam as much in as possible. FL+ at the park is great, but Maverick can get really backed up. If you see the FL+ line backed out to the exit, which is common, come back later. It gets a lot less busy closer to closing time. Same with other FL+ lines. Sometimes you will see them really long, but then you come back an hour later and they're non existent or drastically shorter. We've always had luck with weekday crowds in June. Enjoy your trip.
  14. Thanks. Hoping the family rides like antique cars, log ride, gobbler getaway, etc will also be OK.
  15. We're gong Thursday, June 29th, and Friday 30th. July 4th is Tuesday. How fucked are we with crowds?
  16. It's smoke in mirrors. You can't enforce the law under the circumstances without backlash if something goes wrong. So you don't. You just stand there and hope everyone leaves. No one will be identified. No one will be charged. Maybe 1% of the violators caught will be banned. Only the good kids are the ones who will obey these rules. This is the way.
  17. A new home lone rule is having new borrowers with good credit and a large down payments paying a penalty of on average around $40/month, equaling $14,400 throughout the life of a 30 year loan. It's to offset high risk borrowers those with low credit scores and down payments. We're a middle class family, but we fall in the category of being good with money early in order to live comfortably and debt free now. In our twenties, we paid off our college loans, got rid of all credit card debt, we buy our new cars with cash, and our only outstanding debt is our intentional modest mortgage. But, because of those sacrifices, we have to pay for 'live in the moment' brainwashed shit bags who spend more on bullshit than we do, and live their lives one bloated credit card payment at a time. We're due to buy a new house in the nicer community I work in, now. Something hopefully very nice for the hard work we have done. Lucky us. No one is talking about this. This is America now. Punish the responsible and reward the reckless in the name of "equity."
  18. I paid almost $5 at the pump for premium yesterday, but no one is talking about it.
  19. It's easier to get a driver's license or state ID at 16, so you can prove you're of age. At 21 year old can chaperone up to ten guests and be no where near them. That should be easy to enforce.
  20. Almost every last bit of it all is a money game that you can't win. None of these companies politicians really give a shit about your stance, or mine. Their directions are allowed to go whichever way they believe will benefit them financially in the long run, disguised as progressive, conservative, or occasionally neutral. One example of current events: Bud Light's Dylan Mulvaney can is released. Conservatives protest. Anheuser Busch (AB) takes an actual surprising financial hit. AB releases a ton of conservative advertisements. AB releases conservative leaning statement about their brand to kiss ass. Republicans, who claim to be in support of the conservative efforts, call to support AB conveniently after the statement, because the RNC gets a shit load of donations from AB. The world is fucked, because there is such a complex system of dollars floating over your head, through your phones, and pumped into every aspect of your life to influence your social behavior, you'll never be able to follow. Every political/social stance movement has some kind of dime backed agenda behind it. No amount of capitalism, socialism, communism, anarchism, or any ism' can save us at this point. We're all increasingly radical, and we all despise each other. As long as we're divided, the 1% (including the people in positions of power who pretend to be against the 1%), are going to mind fuck you into insanity and get you to do exactly what they want you to do. Don't drive yourself crazy. Cheers.
  21. I'm positive most guests aren't even aware there is a WDW in China, let alone the chances of them ever visiting. I hate myself for even replying.
  22. It always seems like the off season at this park until mid-July, because of how late they wait to renovate, and/or how slow they move.
  23. It's still funny to me that after all these years of tweaking it, the coaster seemed less reliable than Top Thrill Dragster was.
