I don't really like the idea either. It basically defeats the purpose of Griffon having them. Now they will be almost the same ride. IMO SheiKra should just keep the floors.

April - Six Flags Great Advenutre May - Dorney Park multiple times and possibly Six Flags Great Adventure June - Dorney and possibly Busch Gardens Europe, Paramount's King's Dominion, and Six Flags America July - Dorney and possibly Knoebles August - Dorney and Hersheypark September - Dorney and maybe Six Flags Great Adventure October - Dorney for Holloweekends I'm hoping all of this comes true but i doubt it will. But there also might be some other parks, it all depends on where my sister goes to college.

Wow those were some great photos! I really enjoyed the different angles of Volcano! Looks like you had a good time, to bad the weather was so cold. I just have a few questions about PKD. There is a good chance that I will go there next June and I wanted to know how the coasters and flats are. I've heard that Hypersonic and Hurler are rough. Is that true? Also what would be the best strategy for the park on a tuesday, wendsday, or thursday from opening to closing in mid June? Thanks in advance!

This looks like it is coming along great! The thing I'm most excited about is when I go next summer all the people will be there and I can ride the coasters more! Well at least I hope the lines will be shorter.

I sorta average all my rides together on a certain coaster to rate it. By doing this I can figure out how the coaster will usually run. But it is sorta hard to do on rides like Storm Runner, Nitro, and El Toro which get better with every ride!

Current coaster count: 40 # of new coasters ridden for me: 9 # of new 2006 coasters ridden: 1 Park visits: 20 ish Different parks visited: 3 New to me parks: 1 Park visited the most: Dorney Park around 15 visits. Wood coaster ridden the most: Thunderhawk 23 times. Steel coaster ridden the most: Hydra 45 times. All in all I had a good seaon probably the best of my life so far, but next year is looking pretty good for me. I'm excited for next April when my season should start!

I agree with what everyone else has said so far. The lines won't be long. From around 5 - 7 on saturday Talon and Steel Force will probably be around a 20 minute wait and Hydra and Laser will be about a 5 - 10 minute wait. Anytime before or after that the rides will be 0 - 10 minutes.

I know Dorney only closes their rides if it is poring or if it’s thundering.

My favorite element would be the top hat. I love the airtime you get on them, especially Storm Runners. My other favorite would be big, steep first drops like on Nitro, El Toro, and Storm Runner.

Talon last train of the night on 10/7. It was running extremely fast also!

Great photo trip report so far! I really enjoyed the pictures you took. I also feel the same way about Talon. I ride it about every week or two and I have never had a "forceless" ride.

A backrow ride on Talon about an hour ago. It was running very well today.
