  1. ^Oh. That makes a lot more sense.
  2. ^haha. that would be kind of..... well, nigloland said their new coaster would have a "70 metres long drop" so, after that, nothing will surprise me.
  3. 100 km/h? Is that accurate? If so, not bad at all. Looks like an interesting ride.
  4. ^Batman is very intense. Maybe you should do bizarro first. Superman is also okay but the flying position might not inspire a lot of confidence considering you've never been on a looping ride, you should do it though, just do bizarro first. Green lantern is somewhere in the middle batman being the most intense and having the most Gs.

  7. ^While not exactly a "memorable" ride, it is very good to star with, and the park itself is amazing, in my opinion. And then, if you feel confident, you have a wide range of more intense rides to try (including another boomerang) and some of the best coasters I've been on (talking about skyrush and storm runner).
  8. ^ The article obviously has plenty of errors. Stating it will be the second biggest one is one of them even though I'm not quite sure what they mean with "biggest" tallest? longest? If it really is going to be 32 m it will be the fifth tallest, check here. So we can't fully trust it, including the indicated speed.
  9. I guess this all depends on what kind of experience you want to get. Let's say you take gerstlaueringvar's suggestion and go to Hershey, Pennsylvania: if you want to star with a great ride which you will always remember as your first, and rather intense, loping coaster you could do Storm Runner. If, on the other hand, you wish to start with a tamer ride you could try sooperdooperlooper which is very "peaceful" being the loop the only really exiting bit. It also depends on which rides you've already been on. You said you haven't tried a looping coasters but if you have been on an intense non-inveting one you would definitely have no problems doing an intense looping ride. For instance, the most intense ride, for me, at Hershey Park is skyrush which doesn't have inversions. If you feel comfortable about trying rides such as these, you could try anything. If you don't, there isn't necessarily a problem but maybe you should do a tamer looping coaster first, it all depends on what you're looking for.
  10. The loops are exactly the same, they were just lifted about 10-15 feet. The drop received the majority of the modification with that. Fun fact, that neuter only took the ride from 6.5Gs to 6Gs (even though SFDK advertised 5Gs). That's insane! Is Thriller holding the record as coaster with strongest positive G force? No, apparently it's a rather bizarre ride in south Africa which pulls 6.3 Gs. Here's the RCDB link: rcdb.com/1481.htm
  11. 21/25 on that one. The other ones I tried were rather terrible in terms of score. I suppose if there was one to identify coasters (mainly steel) by a picture I would do pretty well.
  12. Roller coasters
  13. I think at least one of the trims has been removed.
  14. Well, given that it hasn't snowed in my hometown for over twenty years, yes. Do you like extreme heat?
  15. wodan timbur coaster
  16. Wow that surely must look very impressive in person! The colors are nice too.
  17. ^Actually, form what I've been told (as I only rode mantis after the trim was added) it doesn't make a really big difference. What, for me, does have an impact is how the MCBR now kills a lot more speed than it did when it opened. If you look at 2:58 you can see it travels faster through the second half than it does now. I know they probably did this to make the ride more comfortable as it is already rough but I would like to go through that twisty thingy on 3:10 faster than I did this year.
  18. If in the medieval age they had had access to such torture devices who knows what they would have done....
  19. One of the three main coaster at portaventura. I'm guessing Furius baco won't be running right from opening time so dragon khan or shambhala.
  20. WHATTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! Stone the blasphemer! No one is to stone anyone until I blow this whistle! Do you understand? Even, and I will make this absolutely clear, even if they do say it's not all about the cinnamon bread.
  21. So are they really going to leave the second half of the batwing for last?
  22. Woo hoo! Actually I've seen it too So - does that make 13 of us now? No 14, my grandmother has also seen it.
