^Thank you for the pics. Construction is looking great so far! Great theming and it will also give a new perspective of shambhala. About the capacity, I've never been on a splash battle so how is it, usually? -

You're very right. It is EXTREMELY annoying when they are inefficient. When I went to Hershey last summer it all went well until I decided to take the last ride of the day on Skyrush (it was around 9 p.m.), I also wanted to have a go on the front seat but the line was just stopped in the stairs that lead to the station with no more than 20 people ahead of me for over 20 minutes, and when I say stopped I mean it: it didn't move a foot!! I eventually gave up the front seat but still waited an awful lot of time given the size of the queue.

Nice pictures. Good to see Texas giant still has all the attention it deserves. -

I prefer Sky Screamers over Windseekers. There's something about the chain that makes it more thrilling. You mean the risk of getting stuck 300 feet in the air for hours isn't thrilling enough? Enough said. -
Best Ride at Universal Orlando?

^It really is a pity how it's not doing what it was build to do anymore. I wish I could have tried it while it was still dueling. -

^ I'm quite annoyed that I have no choice but to go there on opening day as I'm having a school trip and that will be the very last day of it. I guess if I were on my own I would choose to get the fast pass (or whatever they call it there) thingy but as I will be with a dozen of friends I can't force them to buy it too. -

A few more updates, looking very good! Great theming! Source By the way, I'll be there for opening day, does anyone know what I should expect in terms of crowds? (11th April, Friday) -
Suprising Soakings
rcjp replied to Kingsislandfreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I rode tutuki splash at portaventura I obviously knew I was going to get wet and as I saw a few people taking their shirts off and putting them between their back and the seat in order to "protect" them I decided to do the same. However, as we were sitting in the back, we went down the first drop and it was fine only like five seconds later a sort of wave attacked us from being and not only was I soaked but but my t-shirt I was trying to keep dry was also soaked. -

^I don't know about subway but you probably shouldn't limit yourself to three or four dishes of salad as it would become something that, in my opinion, most people wouldn't be able to maintain for a long time. Obviously you shouldn't eat loads of fat but a nice variety of food is okay. I just have one question: we all know that it is really hard to get a body like those models as most of them work every day and dedicate most of their lives to being like that. For most of us who study or have a job it is not that simple. My question is: is it possible for someone who has a permanent occupation (like a job) to ever be like one of those models? Because I've been training Karte for a long time and even though most of us are in very good shape (I actually get there two hours before the class starts to use some of the Gym-like equipment we have and them the train itself is two hours long, three times a week) no one has a perfect body like those guys do and this is something that, as you can imagine, takes a long time every week and that's all I can do because of classes. I don't want to demotivate anyone but I get the feeling that unless you dedicate A LOT of time to get like that (because the exercises you do to gain strength or endurance are different from the ones you do just to get muscled) you won't really get like them, almost as if the image of perfection of a man (or woman) portrayed these days is very very hard achieve for someone like us. I speak for myself, I too would like to be like those models and some of the exercises I do are just to gain muscle and even though I have gained some and, overall, I think I'm okay I'm not "perfect" like those guys, just saying.

Your favorite coaster tunnel

That's a very nice one. It's amazing how long it is. I also like shambhala's tunnel on the bottom of the first drop. -

Nice colour, even though I think painting it all black would look better. -

^Yeah, I know. Still, Koenigsegg is going to build the Agera One which is supposed to get to 280mph. Now I hope they do get to test this one's top speed, Koenigsegg is my favourite manufacturer and I would like to see them teaching the Veyron a lesson.

B&M Wing Rider Coasters - Love or Hate?
rcjp replied to jfruge's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^B&M track is made both in the US and Europe, I think. It's just a matter of where the ride is going to that decides where the track is built. I don't know about intamin but I'm pretty sure B&M makes their trains in Switzerland. -

^That's also my definition. If that is an inversion then Silver Bullet's turn is an ultra inversion!
