  1. Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd
  2. So any updates on the construction of this thrill machine?
  3. Oh, I forgot to mention this. Given that people can withstand up to 17 Gs in the direction "back-chest" I would have a B&M flyer pulling 10 Gs at the bottom of the pretzel loop . That would be hard to beat!
  4. Never When was the last time you bled?
  5. ^Well that would be pretty fast, but who knows...
  6. ^Who are you talking to? Is it me? Because you are pointing at your previous post.
  7. ^Maybe. But one thing is for sure: I'm expecting one heck of a ride! (just wish it was a little bit longer)
  8. ^I'm with you on this one too, it would give it a more woody feeling. But I'll wait to see the finished product.
  9. ^The best "technique" I could come up with was grabbing the bars on the side of the restraint which would relieve the pain a lot. Still, I like to ride coasters (especially the most intense ones) with my hands up and even if I don't, I don't want to have to hold on to the restraints in order to avoid pain. Skyrush is an awesome ride, the most intense I've been on and definitely the best if it didn't hurt, but if nothing serious is done to improve comfort I'm afraid it will never reach my top spot (it's no 3 right now) as that can't be a coaster that gives me serious pain during every airtime hill. I really would like this issue to be solved even though I won't be riding it again anytime soon
  10. I don't really see why they couldn't do 600 if it's already at 570. Come on, 30 feet is not that much!
  11. I guess it would just be called "passing out". It's called G-LOC - gravity induced loss of consciousness.
  12. Happy Birthday! Soon you will be able to ride the big ones!!
  13. ^Yeah, I also assumed that would be the case, don't worry
  14. ^Yes, that makes sense. I wonder what they will do with the mostly out and back (and kind of straight) layout: will it have a loop and then a few airtime hills (hyper coaster-style), will it have inversions which go straight (there are not that many), or will it be a mix? Interesting....
  15. ^Will it be launched or have a lift hill?
  16. ^I actually started noticing differences pretty quickly but then after a while I sort of stabilized and haven't changed much since. And while I would say I have everything in place and, overall, in good shape I'm not like those guys in the pictures.
  17. ^They're both inverted coaster, so probably that was the reason for the confusion.
  18. ^^The only SLC called Batman is in Mexico, the other Batmans are B&M inverted coasters
  19. ^I actually ranked it just above TTD because of that. I love its intensity and I haven't quite figured out why I find it more intense than TTD. But storm runner, for me, was better (2nd compared to 5th).
  20. I've also ranked them pretty high (5 and 6) and the only thing that stops me from putting them higher is obviously their ridiculous length, but for me there's nothing quite like the sheer violence of 128 mph winds and entering the top hat at full speed
  21. ^I actually think skyrush is fine with lapbars, but just not the ones it has now. I wonder how these new ones perform in terms of comfort but they do look better than Skyrush's.
