  1. ^And rougarou is the only one with an inclined loop (even though it's a special case)
  2. ^Chang? The park was originally Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.
  3. ^I think whatever they do it'd be unacceptable if some seats remained closed. We'll see
  4. ^Agree. I never had the chance to join a TPR tour before they were over which is a shame given how great they must have been
  5. I hadn't realized that loop had such an odd shape. I wonder how it'll ride
  6. ^Me too. Vekoma seems to have really interesting products which we sometimes never see
  7. Well .. ....... I guess now the AC/DC concert is not so certain given Brian Johnson's ear problems and that they rescheduled all the concerts until the first one in Europe (which is this one). That'd be a huge bummer.
  8. Interesting... I had no idea what was the weight of a lift motor and chain. Pretty impressive
  9. With the opening day coming I wonder what will be/has been done to furius baco given that it was apparently getting pretty bad.
  10. ^Is that an intamin accelerator coaster? It looks pretty interesting and at least we know the water park is getting built
  11. Looking great! It's amazing how tall the MCBR is
  12. Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who
  13. ^^ Now that looks properly tall! It's just a shame we'll have to wait until next year.
  14. Agreed 100%, especially the point about the twists making the drops feel busy. The straight down drop is the most interesting aspect of this coaster for me. I'm also interested to see how it feels without the twist (even though I would rather have one given that, as mentioned, it adds something to really short rides)
  15. ^^Indeed! It looked great. While I'm definitely exited we're getting such a tall coaster in Europe I can sort of relate to what you're feeling. I guess it was a series of small disappointments from the lack of an airtime hill (which the first concepts clearly showed), the not so impressive acceleration (compared to their accelerator coasters) and now the twist. We all know this is how things work but it's like they found the cheapest possible way to build such a ride of this size. I'm slightly concerned about the capacity and I mean, even if the LSM launch requires small trains they should have got more than three. The truth is in the end I'll still be visiting the park and probably have a good time.
  16. Those look way bigger than I thought. When I first saw the concept I wasn't really that interested bu now that it's built it definitely looks intriguing.
  17. ^Wow that looks amazing! Great theming!
  18. ^Yes, I was thinking about it as I wrote that (which is kind of irritating but works)
  19. Indeed the two day option isn't bad but the "normal" tickets (if near these prices) are insane! I never thought it could be this much. It's obviously not going to stop me from going there but still...
  20. What?? Ok that last turn isn't very fast but the small airtime hill before is just as insane as the others. I know what you mean when you say it loses speed very quickly but the layout is made so that that loss in speed doesn't bring a loss of intensity (at least that was the case on my rides). So yes, if you take into account that this one is longer it doesn't do poorly as it hits the brakes with some speed.
  21. I just watched a few skyrush testing videos (some with empty trains and others with very low lift speed) and it did already seem pretty fast. The layout on this one looks amazing and it is properly long but although I do think it will speed up I don't see it gaining that much speed to be OMFG insane like skyrush. I guess only time will tell, though, and we don't even have a pov.
  22. ^Looking forward to that. This ride really looks promising.
  23. Nice that they'll have a place to watch the trains accelerate like TTD. The launch track looks a bit shorter than I thought, but maybe it's just the angle. Also I wonder why the LSMs are more spaced further down the track. Wouldn't it be possible to get a better acceleration if they were all right next to each other?
  24. Wow that first drop on a wing seat is going to be insane!
