I really like the whole colorful tron look, but i'm kinda surprised there was very little done on the outside portion. -
Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas ® has been selected to be the new head of the House committee on Science, Space, and Technology. This is the same guy who wrote SOPA and doesnt believe in global warming. Yay America.

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

I think the most likely candidate for getting taken out would be Tidal Force, it essentially splits the boardwalk in half and I have never seen it with more than a 5-10 min. wait. Also, wouldnt be surprised to see Roller Soaker go because of its hideous capacity. -

Yes, very much so. Did you like Clockwork Angels?

I would love to see a GCI Big Fun. When I first saw it, I thought it would make a really cool boardwalk/seaside coaster. -

^Good point... there's probably not much left to kill in the ocean there ... other than the guido eating sharks. -

Well that just made that made my day. I can't imagine them letting it stay there because of all the paint, oil, lubricants and other stuff that is probably not too healthy for sea life. -

[RCT3] Hammer Mountain: POV...

Wow, that looks incredible. My only semi complaint is that i'm not sold on the track colors, it just seems to colorful compared to the enviromnent - it just doesnt fit IMO... kinda like silver bullet. Maybe a brown or grey track would fit better -
The "Pleasant/Unpleasant Surprise" Thread
scbt replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My pleasant surprise - Demon Drop at Dorney - Half of my group straight up refused to go onto it, but when i rode it, i was surprised at how the freefall was WAY better than the S&S Tower nearby. I was also expecting it to be really uncomfortable, but, it was rather tolerable. My unpleasant surprise - Curse of DarKastle - Went on it with my mom the first year it opened, my mom threw up for nearly the entire ride, and i ended up so dizzy that I couldn't walk straight for the rest of the day. Also, we found out that the reason why the seats were wet was that the op's just hosed down the seats after someone throws up... -
I don't believe i have. When was the last time you ate some bacon?

Favorite Defunct Roller Coaster/Ride
scbt replied to GrapesLie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The only coaster i've been on that is currently defunct is the Wolf at BGW, it may have not been the most intense ride ever, but it was one of the most 'fun' rides i've ever been on -
Hydra has it's first riders!
scbt replied to jarmor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I rode it for the first time this year, and it was rattling quite a bit on the outside seats, but there was a lot less on the inside seats. Its a solid ride, but nowhere near as good as Talon. -

Love that paint job, but i'm kinda surprised that they decided to go with flames rather than Lightning Bolts. -

Of the three i've been on (Storm Runner, Possessed, and Rockin' Roller Coaster @ Hollywood Studios), Storm Runner is easily the best. ^the best part of SR
