A year ago, Cadillac invited me to drive various models from BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, and Cadillac all over the airstrip at El Toro. We got wined and appetized, then filled out a survey and took home a very nice leather CD case as a gift for participating. That was fun. Eric

I paid $2.56 here in Oxnard two days ago. Much better than the $2.97 I paid just a few weeks ago. I still say that if we're willing or able to go one day each week without driving, that would be a 14% drop in consumption, and down will go the prices... Eric

^ I remember those! Their texture was kind of...interesting... I miss Taco Bell Bellbeefers. Eric -
^ I thought the same thing, but our experience wasn't really that stressful. There wasn't as much paperwork as we thought there would be, and once escrow closed, it was ours...well, the bank's really, but, you know... Eric

Tom Cruise needs to shut up---and now! I can't stand celebrities who use their fame to tout their religion, philosophies of life, etc. Eric

^ We bought our house seven years ago for $195,000. Now we can get almost $600,000 for it! And we haven't done much to it in terms of improvements. The joys of owning a home in Southern California! Good luck to you guys, Wally! Eric

The woman I married, but how she was when I met her. Eric -
Never had one, but if it's anything like coffee, then yes. Do you ever sleep on the couch?

^ Hung up on. < Hung up on chocolate. V Hung up on banjos!

Why do people on message boards quote the person right above them? Didn't we just read it? Heck, just put a ^ before your post. That way, everyone will know that you're replying to the person right above. Message boards are so much easier to read that way. Less clutter. Eric

Six Flags Magic Mountain Tatsu Flying Coaster
ebl replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Maybe we'll get a jojo roll---a first for a flyer! I still like the idea of the lift heading west over the top of the mountain and diving down the other side before swooping back up around the Sky Tower and Roaring Rapids area with a finale of some sort in the Revolution/Log Jammer area. Just a thought! Eric -
Yes, I have a few. Would you take a trip over Niagara Falls in a barrel? Eric

I filled up gas, then had lunch at Del Taco. Does that mean I filled up gas twice? Eric

^ I don't remember half the things I do either, but then I'm over 40... Eric

Heck, when there's no one there, just have a chat with yourself! I did that a couple of nights ago. Unfortunately, I got bored and left. Eric

But has B&M done a coaster on a hill like this? Or are all of theirs on relatively flat ground? There is a first time for everything! Eric -
I can't imagine anyone so desperate that they'd want to find me, but, eh, whatever. Eric

Don't we have a thread like this called "Happiness Pie" or something like that? Anyway, I'll answer with, "Donuts in the office when you get there." Eric

This is why I, a fully believing Christian, do not attend church. I get tired of the mentality of a few "elders" deciding what's best for all. What I'm saying, more or less, is that we have to vote with our conscience. If you feel something is wrong, then avoid it. Eric

...and then there was the blonde who worked in the quality control department at the M&Ms plant. She rejected batch after batch of the candy because they printed Ws on them instead of Ms. Eric

^ I thought that, too, but I figured I'd better not say anything... Eric

^^ Double-ewe-tee-eff...?!?! And, yeah, lay off the caffeine. ^ I think a post-course lift is a good possibility, being that the station will be up on the hill. However, depending on the layout, they may have designed a finale with enough momentum to get the trains back up to station level. We'll know in ten days. Eric -
I think the answer is very simple---it adds lateral support to the entire structure. It looks to be about 150-170 feet up. The end. Eric

My mom let go of my stroller on a steep sidewalk one day---and I liked it! Eric
