I'd just taken a sip of Coke when I first saw that monorail/skyride thingie, and seriously almost spit it out on my screen. That may be one of the funkiest looking rides ever. Great photo TR, Don. I will get to Japan someday. Really. Eric

I'd have done a Photo TR of me walking home from school, but I didn't think anyone would enjoy a bunch of black and white shots with Model Ts driving by. But I did enjoy this one. Perhaps one of the most random ones yet. Eric "Will do a random Photo TR one of these days" L.

I had heard horror stories about SLCs, but I went ahead and rode one anyway (Kong at SFMW). Honestly, I was actually pleasantly surprised. It wasn't any worse than some other coasters I've ridden and nowhere near as bad as it had been made out to be. The SLC in the picture looks like it would be a lot of fun, actually. It has a cobra roll and a vertical loop, which the standard "off the shelf" model doesn't have. Eric

^^ I've had some very rough rides on inside seats, and I've had some good rides on outside seats, so for me, it really doesn't make much of a difference. Hopefully someone will re-engineer that contraption. Eric
