More $15 Six Flags Parking! SFMM, SFA, and SFEG
ebl replied to GAcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Glad I got the Xtreme Play Pass! It'll pay for itself just in parking alone! Eric -
"On a similar note, it just drives me crazy how obsessed people are with dieting these days...good looking, fit, and thin people coming in and wanting the fat free ice cream 'cause they are on a diet...I guess I wouldn't want the ice cream if I was just going to get the disgusting sugarless, fat free crap." (Scaparri) I eat the "sugarless, fat free crap" because I'm diabetic and can't have the "regular crap." They make sugarless and/or fat free items so that people like me, or others who simply want a treat without having to worry about sugar and/or fat can enjoy them. And, honestly, the sugar free stuff isn't that bad, thanks to new sweeteners like Splenda. Eric

How 'bout a slice of pig snout pie? Eric

Cupcakes for sure. Would you rather change a diaper or clean up vomit? (Nice choice, huh? )

"No one mentioned Revolution..." (ShoubraStreet74) I would have---20 years ago. Even at 30 years old, Revolution could still kick major butt over newer rides. Its layout is incredible, it's a long ride, and the pacing is perfect. What ruined it is those stupid---and very unnecessary---OTSRs. Yeah, I know about the legal reasons they're on the ride, but what a shame that one of Anton Schwarzkopf's best rides has been reduced to two minutes of pain. Eric

A bit off-topic, but what about more moderators for the message boards? I've done that on other sites and would be glad to help out here. As for the chat room, I don't go in there very often, so I will politely decline that position. Eric

^ I liked Psyclone when it first opened (1991), but it's not anywhere near the same ride it once was. Eric -
Not paying for you anymore? Aren't we parents evil? Oh, and practice your handwriting. Eric

I do eat it, even though I really shouldn't. The best popcorn is the stuff I make with my Theater III popcorn popper. It's an aluminum pot with a lid on it that you heat over a stove on low-to-medium heat. You put a half cup of corn kernels and 1-3 teaspoons of oil in it, then you turn the crank to stir the kernels and oil till they all pop. Even though it isn't as heat tolerant as canola oil, I use olive oil, which gives the final product a great flavor. Eric

^ Blue smells a lot like liverwurst, but it has a bit more of a raisiny texture to it. That's probably why I keep smelling potatoes. Eric

I got my credit on it in July 2002. If I recall, I didn't get any headbanging on it, but then I've learned to ride Arrow coasters sitting up as high as I can so my head gets above the OTSR. Eric -
^^ Apollo's Chariot at BGW in March 1999 when it opened. We went to the L.A. Auto Show tonight. More crowded than usual on a weeknight, but we saw what we wanted to see. Oh, and I ate a burrito in traffic on the way down. Eric
