  1. Most of it, yes. Do you ever put a coaster under your drink?
  2. ^ Sorry to hear about that. But it was nice of the hospital to let you stay there. Sometimes they don't. Eric
  3. Because they exceed the height limit. Why are bullets made of lead?
  4. About half of a Cedar Fair park. How many times is it necessary to contact Verizon about getting their FiOS service?
  5. If I don't read today's papers within the next hour, they'll be yesterday's news! Eric
  6. If they drop your casket while lowering it into the ground, does that count as a drop ride? Eric
  7. <--- Knott's Berry Farm, 1975, Roaring '20s Corkscrew. I still remember that ride and long after it not believing that I actually went upside down on a coaster. At that time, the Corkscrew was the only coaster in the entire world to have any inversions. Congratulations on conquering your fear. Sometimes the best way to do that is to face them head on. Eric
  8. Provalone, in 25 parmesan minutes. Should I give Diana's chinchilla a ride to the vet?
  9. I rode Rim Runner once, back in 1995. I'm not crazy about the park removing a rather unique water ride for yet another coaster. Hopefully another park will pick it up and move it. Eric
  10. Gravy itself doesn't necessarily make a person fat. How much is consumed is another story, and others besides ACEers do eat. I am an ACEer and I do not. Therefore, I will not be getting fat. Do you remove staples with your finger and/or thumbnails?
  11. When I was about 10 or so, I used to build "theme parks" in my backyard. I had wheelbarrow rides, spinning barstools, etc., but nothing like this. I think if you go to Kim's website, you can download videos of his creations. I do know that his rides have been featured in RollerCoaster! Magazine (an ACE publication if you didn't know). I'd really like to check this out in person sometime. Fortunately, he's just up the state from me. Eric
  12. How would you pull off "Baby Top Thrill Dragster?" Eric
  13. Baby Tower of Terror. Now there ya go! Eric
  14. No, I watch once in awhile. Do you sleep in the buff?
  15. "Baby Startours is always a fun one!" (COASTER FREAK 11) You'd better have a bunch of towels on hand for that one... Eric
  16. ^ Taking Kristen on "Flashback" would qualify him for child abuse. Ditto for "Psyclone." Eric
  17. When Diana was about Kristen's age, she rode "Baby Ninja." Maybe that's why she likes that ride so much. This was pretty funny, though. And Kristen looked like she enjoyed it! Eric
  18. Good topic! We use plastic bags here at home because that's what they give us at the local stores. However, I'd prefer the paper ones because they can be recycled, and I use those to collect what my shredder puts out---and then put it out with the recyclables. Really, though, I ought to invest in some good cloth or canvas bags. One of the most annoying things to me is loose plastic grocery bags blowing all over the place. Eric
  19. So it can hide in a seaweed salad and not be noticed. Why do trains still blow their horns at crossings when it's 2am and no one is waiting there?
  20. As I sit here, in my chair, looking at TPR, a team of skilled pharmacy personnel are filling not one, not two, but three---count 'em, three prescriptions for me. They'll be ready later. Eric
  21. ^ I get it in my e-mail, too. That's why I have a spam folder where that stuff automatically goes. Keep in mind that any kind of spam---porn or otherwise---is done for one reason only: it makes money for whomever sends it out. Eric
  22. ^ On that note, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, my 4213th TPR post. Please hold your applause...no...I said, "Hold your appla--" Damn! Now they're standing and applauding. I tell ya---no one listens to me! What did I do to deserve this? Eric
  23. ^ I have both Mouse Tales books, and, yes, some of the stuff that's gone on is hilarious! Eric
  24. I get to start my SolidWorks class tonight. Eric
  25. Just of note...I seem to remember seeing that the WDW monorail track is 26" wide. Also, I think WDW's was built to "transit standards" in terms of size. The original Las Vegas monorail (back in the mid-'90s between MGM and Bally's) actually used a pair of WDW MK IV trains after they were retired from the resort, so its track had to have been built to the same size. And I think the current LV monorail's track is about the same, even though it runs trains built by Bombardier. Whatever...we're going to be riding some cool monorail trains before long... Eric
