I think the Hurricane at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is an identical model to this Windstorm. At least it looks the same...even the same color if I recall. Wasn't this a Six Flags-owned park briefly at one time? Eric

We have a Chick-Fil-A in Oxnard that opened last year where a Krispy Kreme store used to be. They are indeed good. I had a ticket to the L.A. County Fair, but after a long day at the DLR yesterday (read about that here), I decided to get a few more winks. In hindsight, however, I kinda wish I'd gone, but I'll go next year. I rode Crazy Coaster at the Orange County Fair in July. It's a far cry better than that Pole Position ride that tours with another carnival operator. Surely the Sky Flyer was there...wasn't it? I contemplated taking a late trip out to SFMM today (but decided against it). However, the girls will be gone all next weekend, so maybe I'll squeeze in a trip. $200 in cash from dealing roulette a couple of times comes in handy. Anyway, whenever I do go out there, I'll do some poking around (just for funsies) and see if I find anything. As I've said before, I can wait till the park announces something.
