Just watched the 3 angles test video, this time with the sound on (I forgot my headphones earlier today). I just love the two guys at 1:07 and 1:11 going "Oh my God" and "Oh man!" Gets me every time!

Hooray for vertical construction! I completely forgot this thing was going in. The colors look a little bit Superman-ish too. But yay for Sky Screamers.

I used to go to Dorney all the time in the summer with my cousins when I was a kid, and it would always be packed. So imagine my surprise when the two most recent times I went (Halloween Haunt 2008 and this past August), the park was practically a ghost town. I honestly thought there was something wrong with Talon because there were so few people on it the whole day. Guess I just got lucky with crowds. And I've never really noticed the hoodlum element at Dorney. Perhaps it's because this and Great Adventure are my home parks, so I've just come to expect a certain unsavory crowd at theme parks...

Nah, not quite. Well, I suppose that that zero-g/corkscrew thing is a bit slow, but I would say that the rest is at a pretty decent pace.

Out of curiosity (and procrastination) I was looking at old posts in the Carowinds thread, and around the time Intimidator was testing, people were joyfully clamoring over how it was flying through the course during tests. Sounds eerily similar to the last few pages here... Don't make the same mistake, B&M! There wouldn't even be a good nickname for Leviathan with 'trim' in it. I mean, Trimviathan? Leviatrim? Those sound stupid! Just say no to trims.

Well it depends on what you need it for... Also, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I think that Harry Potter World directly killed Dueling Dragons (I insist on calling it that still). Without the money-grabbing retheme, there wouldn't be as big of an influx of GP and first-timers, and with that the shi- erm, knuckleheads that threw stuff at each other on the ride causing Dueling Dragons to not duel any more. Harry Potter is terrible and I hate it. Get off my lawn!

As awesome as this would be, it's incredibly unlikely. America LOVES lawsuits, and this would probably draw in tons of them.

I think, considering the already quite large budget for this monster, B&M did quite well for themselves in terms of layout and pacing. It essentially seems to be designed for speed, so I think it's better that it's still going at a pretty decent pace when it hits the brakes. It amplifies that sense of speed if you're going fast the whole time, rather than burning off all the speed on a few bunny hills at the end and sort of trudging into the brakes.

WHOA! That was flying through the first turn and speed hill. And it's SO LOUD. I love it. Also, I really hope that the World's Tallest Brake Run is handled the way it is in that first run, AKA the horizontal portion not slowing the train down at all. I think that might even add an extra thrill to the ride, as the uninformed might think "Oh God why isn't it stopping yet???"

Have any more tests been happening since this first one?

Gahhhh, that lift is so wonderfully torturously slow! And did it seem like the trims noticeably slow the train down, or was it just because, y'know, this is the first time it's ever run the course ever? Either way, it can only get faster from here!

Pardon my ignorance (or inability to use the search function in this thread), but has there been any official details about this project released (layout, name, stats, anything)? Or is all we know that it'll be a woodie made by RMC?

Does anyone else think that the shipping padding still on the restraints make them look a bit ridiculous? Also, I'm really liking the look of the bare polished steel on the backs of the seats.
