  1. ^It really annoys me all the old pictures are gone anyway new one's: Today I want to do another Efteling Photo trip report, It's been a while since my last trip report and thats why. I will do it different today, I only post photo's no text, I tried to take a little time for some picture moments rather then just make random photo's like normal, I would love to have some tips to take better picture's in the future (I do have a bad camera, so please don't judge quality), If you have tips I will listen : And done. Till next time and that will be September a photo trip report from Hansa Park.
  2. Baron 1898 front seat just a few hours ago:
  3. So got a new update from above the mess grows: Orange: Brakes, Storage, Station and first launch. Yellow: Is of the first half of the coaster. Red: Second half of the coaster. Pink: Placed track unknown first or second half. Green: Tunnel. (No track yet) With future track (the light blue): Last update (big only): Now: Some places a piece was added making it a little further then before, I added the twisty part (the s shape just above the storage) and extended the track (light purple line) after the second launch to under the beige line.
  4. I found this new cool No limits attempt on Taron keeping in mind all we know so far of the lay-out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQwW1u4oXGs Source: Youtube. Note I did not make this video all rights and credits go to C Taylor, I'm just politely sharing his amazing work. I have to say if it turns out like that I'm exited seems like a fun and twisty ride with great theming work from Phantasialand.
  5. That looks beautiful. This is why this ride is one of my most anticipated coasters that are under construction right now.
  6. The crane has been transported to the other side of the construction site (now in the picture) and lots of track has been laid ready for installation. Seems they're continuing track work for now. Let's hope they don't stop yet. I still hope we don't get a official lay-out before track work is done. Source. I would like a bowl of spaghetti right now, these pictures make me hungry.
  7. Taron or Wildfire, they're the only 2 coasters that will open next year and I will ride next. Okay not entirely true I also will ride the 2 Mack coasters at Walibi Holland and Belgium but I am not that exited for them.
  8. Nothing beats Saturday track work. Also yesterday and today some supports have were placed. Source. This asks for a update of the top view. Track placed: Orange: Brakes, storage, station, turn before and the first launch. Yellow: All the track after the second launch. Red: the second launch and all that comes after that. Pink: Placed track we still can't fit in the whole picture. Green: Tunnel. (No track (yet)) Future? Very color has the same meaning as of the picture above this one. Light blue: Track that hasn't been placed yet but supports that are placed suggest this. Bigger picture: Let's face it the first picture is kind off a unreadable (and will be more when time progress), so here is it on clear white background. I enhanced the exact same lines 200% and added black lining to the side so we can see the crosses better. Yellow: Station and the first part of the ride. Light purple: Second part of the ride and Brakes. Beige: The placed track that hasn't been connected yet. Dark gray: Storage. I also added the tunnel that green part.
  9. They keep on building, for now they're adding track pieces that are behind the second launch. They made a nice S curve after we reached the top of the second launch, most likely this is a point we can have a nice look around for like some little seconds. Here we bank almost 90 degrees before taking a plunge.
  10. Baron 1898 at the Efteling was the last credit, for now the only credit this year, I will visit Hansa park in September though, never been there before, and still I'm looking at some credits nearby I might take for granted.
  11. Just worked on a top view of the construction site to actually see more of the lay-out then we do now. Okay fair I try my best but this is 95% accurate: Dark yellow: Brakes, Storage, Station, turn before and the first launch. Yellow: All track work between launch 1 and 2. So the overbanked turn coming out of the launch and the turns before the second are the only things sure now. Red: Second launch to brakes. So just the second launch and the overbanked turn following and the final turn into the brakes are red. Pink: Unknown track segments. So the overbanked turn going over the end of launch one and the helix like figure with the trims are two parts of this ride we don't know whetter they belong to the first segment (yellow) of the ride or the second (red). Green: They build a tunnel there not track (yet). So many things to see for sure.
  12. Trimbrakes shown up. source Still impressed by the fact that what we know still could be connected so many ways, also the supports make the fantasy complete. ^^^^ Such shame to see that during such a big project. I'm sure the Gerstlauer Smiler fix will work just fine, just cut the connector of and replace it.
  13. Okay I've been off this since that bad trailer and the news that they we're redoing the game, frankly I had no faith anymore that they could make it something nice again. Just hope they also are working on the coasters, but what I can see now looks better then before. Edit: I still am not buying this if they don't redo the coaster though, it's what the game is all about and still haven't seen a photo of them making angled turns.
  14. So we finally know more on the lay-out, a few pieces more to be exact. You know I never thought I would like to see a construction site that was this messy, I mean things are going on everywhere and we're not seeing half of it thanks to limited photo's available. But that is why I'm the most exited for this construction, it's just so much hard work that is put into this and it makes me exited to see how they plan to hide all this concrete. Not knowing the final lay-out is also very satisfying, because now I can look at all the placed track and just use my imagination on how that will all fit on each other.
  15. I'm aware of that. But lets face it this wouldn't be the first time a park kind off walked over us like that. All I'm saying is that I got heard the news as if they're trying to sell this as the a new coaster, of-coarse that could be just be a error form the news feed I got and this where the writer thought this was a new coaster and not a flatride. I'm just wondering if they still plan the coaster for 2017 as there was no talk before over a ride in 2016 and this could be confessed with a coaster easily. So not that after the 2016 season we're all waiting for the announcement of the 2017 coaster and the park is like: "We had one this year (2016), so why another one next year?"
  16. Earlier they announced a big adrenaline filled coaster for 2017 let's just hope they didn't mean that thing, cause I heard they're either trying sell it or people just see it as a coaster. Anyways still hope this wasn't the "coaster" and we still get a good puppy in 2017 for this park. Besides that concept looks good.
  17. ^ I swear I knew there was gold somewhere (saw them lowering it inside the tunnel during construction) but you can't see it during the ride, Or yesterday I didn't see a single piece of gold. Nice touch tough.
  18. I can't believe I got to ride it today. It's a fun ride and the queue is just beautiful (inside the building). Great report.
  19. That looks awesome I can't wait to ride it.
  20. rode it today. The ride is really fun, my biggest fear was that the preshows would be boring but they aren't, you also just have basically 1 preshow that is short and well done, while the second you are just assigned to your door and you have Gustave telling you why you're there. I rode it 2 times (busy in the morning whit a line I think 3 hours long for sure and later on the day the line was not even 60 so everyone was in for a quick ride.) 1 in the morning (we where on time only waited for max 10 minutes) and one later on the day, and still that preshow wasn't bad the second time. I personally like the ride a lot and if I need to say: I like it more then Krake ride only (total picture Krake will lose big time Baron just has so much going on). Overall Baron is a great ride nothing really special but I like it the most in the park, I maybe even like it the most off all the rides I rode in the Netherlands (Goliath at Walibi doesn't offer a experience but is a better ride so hard call on that).
  21. ^^ I always wondered if Claude was still active at the firm. I mean I never seen him once, I know Walter is still busy as we seem him every year keeping his teeth together on IAAPA not even answering questions without saying: "I don't say anything about that."
  22. Looking forward to tomorrow. Got my gear ready and am exited to see what the preshows look (will not watch the videos except for the onride) and for the ride itself. Just hope the hot weather over here makes a lot of people reconsider their visit for tomorrow or go home early so that it tomorrow isn't really busy.
  23. I believe for the majority of People the Pre-shows will be worth it as they will see it once or twice a year. But I think local fans could get bored with this ride pretty fast thanks to the Pre-Shows. I hope these shows don't get on my own nerves fast as the ride looks good for more rides per day then just one, not that I will end up like Villa Volta (parks madhouse) that I avoid for having 2 Pre-shows that come out of my nose. What will help is the english part could get some variation by following that once in a while and ignore the Dutch talking.
  24. Kind off like the fact that this picture can fool you if you don't think about it. But the entrance to the ride on the right side of this picture (the 3 stairs) and the exit on the left (the gates). Station looks good both in and outside.
  25. It just comes together more and more looking forward to 1ste of July now.
